We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up ### and his pending S Pass application. Father God, we know that You are the One who opens doors that no man can shut and closes doors that no man can open. We ask that You move in this situation according to Your perfect will. Lord, we pray for favor in the eyes of those who review ###’s application. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of ### and his wife as they wait upon You.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We claim this promise over ### and his family, trusting that You are working all things together for their good, even when the outcome is not yet seen.
We also encourage you both to continue seeking God’s will in every area of your lives. Financial provision and stability are important, but they should never take the place of your trust in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Let this season of waiting draw you both closer to Him, knowing that He is your Provider and Sustainer.
Father, we ask that You grant wisdom to the authorities reviewing ###’s application. If it is Your will for him to work in Singapore, we pray that You would make the way clear and remove any obstacles. If this is not Your plan, we ask that You reveal Your purpose and provide for their needs in another way. Either way, we trust You, Lord.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may try to creep into your hearts. Stand firm in the faith, knowing that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for ### and his wife, and we ask that You bless their marriage abundantly. May they continue to grow in love, unity, and faith, honoring You in all they do. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can come to You. Amen.
