Hindrances to Prayer
Prayerless living invites God’s wrath, while true prayer brings blessings and must not be hindered.
Business Troubles
Business struggles test your character and call you to trust God rather than panic or compromise.
The Unknown Ways of Love
Christ’s love works in ways beyond our understanding, yet its power remains sure for our good.
We join you in lifting this financial burden before the Lord and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you and your spouse in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We understand the weight you are carrying after stepping out to help a friend, and the concern that finances could bring tension into your marriage. It is good and biblical to have a generous heart, for it is written, God loves a cheerful giver, 2 Corinthians 9:7, yet Scripture also calls us to steward what God has entrusted to us with wisdom and unity within marriage. A husband and wife are one flesh, and financial decisions are best made together in love and transparency so that no confusion or division can take root. As it is written, Can two walk together, unless they have agreed? Amos 3:3 and Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3.

We pray that God will guard your marriage from any strife over this matter. The Lord is not a God of confusion, but of peace, 1 Corinthians 14:33, and we ask Him to give you and your spouse clear communication, grace, and mutual understanding as you walk through this together. We also pray for wisdom in stewardship going forward, remembering that The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. Proverbs 21:5 and to count the cost before committing resources, as our Lord taught in Luke 14:28.

We bring your finances and your friend's situation before our Father who knows your needs. We take comfort that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and that if we Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. We also remember the promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

Together we pray, Father in heaven, we lift this dear couple to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the generosity that led to helping a friend and You see the financial concern that has followed. We ask for Your mercy and provision, that You would work this situation out for good for them and for their friend, that no debt or obligation would linger to cause hardship. Pour out wisdom upon this husband and wife, help them to be united in counsel and in love, let no confusion or trouble come between them but let Your peace reign in their home. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches, open doors where there seem to be none, and let this trial strengthen their marriage and their trust in You. Help their friend also to be blessed and to honor the kindness shown. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name and we trust Your perfect will. Amen.

We encourage you both to continue to pray together daily about this, to speak openly and gently with one another about expectations and next steps, and to trust the Lord to provide and to lead you. He is faithful and He will guide you into peace.

We appreciate you sharing this so honestly. Wanting to help a friend is a kind impulse, and it makes sense you would also feel the weight of how it affects your home. Your concern for your spouse and for keeping peace between you really stands out to us.

One thing that often helps when money and friendship overlap is to bring everything into the light together as a couple. When you both have the same clear picture, confusion has less room to grow. If you haven't already, we encourage you to set aside unhurried time with your spouse soon to look at what was given, what you both expected, and what you hope will happen next, and to pray together about next steps. If the details feel tangled, it can also help to talk with a trusted pastor or a reputable financial counselor who can help you make a simple, workable plan without taking sides.

We are praying for you in this.

Father, we lift this couple and their friend to You in Jesus' name. Please bring clarity where there has been worry, protect the unity of this marriage, and give them wisdom for each decision ahead. Provide for what they need, guide their friend as well, and let peace rule in their home. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace. We understand the weight you feel, having acted in kindness toward a friend and now carrying concern for your finances and for peace within your home, and we count it a privilege to pray with you and for you.

We are reminded that the Lord is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord will provide. As Abraham found upon the mount, the provision comes in the time of our extremity, often when we see no way forward. The ram in the thicket was behind him though he saw it not as yet, and so the Lord's provision is near at hand even when our eyes are dim with care. He who spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things needful. That great provision of Christ upon the cross guarantees every lesser provision, and we may rest upon it.

We also remember that our God gives provision by the way. He does not leave His children to pass through trial without special help suited to the need, that they may bear the roughness of the road and endure till they come to the goodly land. In your present trial He is able to give wisdom, calmness of spirit, and unity of heart.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Jehovah Jireh, Thou seest the need of Thy servants. Thou knowest their desire to do good and their present anxiety concerning what has been given to help a friend. We ask Thee to provide for their household according to Thy riches in Christ Jesus, to grant them wisdom in stewardship, and to keep far from them confusion and strife. Let there be open and loving communion between husband and wife, that they may be of one mind and one heart before Thee, bearing one another's burdens in honesty and grace. Work this matter for good, we pray, for them and for their friend, that all may be done decently and in order, and that no root of bitterness or misunderstanding may spring up. Give them contentment to trust Thy hand whether the answer comes as they hope or by another way which Thou seest to be better, for Thou dost all things well. Keep them near to Christ, who is our effectual and costly provision for sin and for daily need, and let them prove again that Thou art faithful.

We encourage you to walk in open fellowship with your spouse in this matter, speaking the truth in love, seeking counsel together and committing each step to the Lord in prayer. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and rest in the promise that your heavenly Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask Him.

May the Lord grant you peace in your home, wisdom in your decisions, and a quiet confidence that He who has provided Christ will not withhold any good thing needful for you. We continue to bear you up before Him in Jesus name.

We thank you for sharing this burden with us and we join you in prayer before the Lord who hears us through Jesus Christ alone.

We pray for you and your spouse, that God would grant you unity, clear communication and peace in your home, and that there would be no confusion or trouble between you as you walk through this financial matter. We ask Him to give you wisdom as stewards of what He has provided, to guide you in love and honesty with one another, and to provide for your needs according to His mercy.

We also pray for your friend whom you helped, that the Lord would work for good in his life as well, and that your kindness would be a true help. Scripture reminds us that brother aided by brother becomes like a fortified city, and that real friendship is not built only on sharing a table or on temporary advantage, but on virtue and godliness and love that endures through every change. When friendship is formed upon love for God and care for one another, it seeks to help in profitable ways and to guard each other from harm. We encourage you to continue in that kind of love, which wishes to give rather than only to receive, and which remains steady whether circumstances are easy or difficult.

May the Lord grant that this matter works out in a way that is honest and brings peace to your household and blessing to your friend, and may He keep your marriage strong, knit together by the same grace you have received at His Table. We pray that you and your spouse would be of one mind, speaking openly, forgiving quickly if a hasty word is spoken, and stretching out a hand to lift one another up, so that your home would be guarded by that godly love which no trial can easily overpower.

We commit this financial need to God, asking for His provision, His direction, and His peace to rest upon you both. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep praying together as husband and wife, to seek wise counsel, and to trust the Lord to lead you step by step.

Your request is heard and I am grateful you shared it. Wanting to help a friend is a good and generous impulse, and it is also right that you are concerned for your finances and for peace in your marriage. God cares about both.

Scripture shows that God desires harmony. At the beginning all creation was in harmony with Him, and when that harmony was broken by sin, relationships were broken as well, between people and God and between people and one another. In a marriage, that harmony is especially precious. The Lord looks throughout the earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are in harmony with Him, and when a husband and wife together seek to keep their hearts in tune with Him, He can keep them in tune with each other even under financial pressure. Pray that your hearts together stay aligned with His heart, with honesty, grace and clear communication, so that confusion and trouble do not take root.

Your generosity reflects the love Christ puts in His people. The early churches in Macedonia gave liberally to help the poor believers in Jerusalem even while they themselves were going through deep poverty and trials, and they did so with joy. God sees that kind of heart. At the same time the prophet Haggai reminds us that financial strain can be a call to put the Lord first, to honor Him with the first fruits of what He has given, trusting Him to provide for what remains. It is wise to thank Him for what you have, to seek His counsel in how you give, and to trust Him to supply your needs as you put Him first.

Remember also that God always leaves room to work. Under the law there was a detailed ritual for the cleansing of a leper, though leprosy was incurable by human means. God in that way made provision for a miracle if He chose to heal. Do not put God in a box. Even when a financial decision has already been made and the outcome feels uncertain, He is able to work in ways we cannot explain. There is no need to modify His word or to worry without prayer, but simply to bring the matter to Him and allow Him to act according to His wisdom and mercy.

I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is Your provision for our forgiveness and our peace with You, I bring this family before You. You know the need that led to helping a friend and the financial weight that has followed. Provide for this husband and wife according to Your riches and wisdom. Give them unity, clear understanding, and no confusion between them. Guard their marriage with Your peace and help them to speak to one another with love and truth. Work in this situation for good for them and for their friend, and use it to deepen their trust in You. Help them to keep You first and to rest in Your care. Amen.

Keep seeking the Lord together in prayer and in His word, keep your hearts in harmony with Him, and trust Him to guide you step by step with wisdom for the days ahead.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning your finances after you helped your friend. We have been lifting you and your spouse before the Lord and asking Him to work this matter out in your favor and in your spouses favor and in your friends favor and to guard your marriage from any confusion or trouble because of it.

We continue to pray that God will provide for all your needs and grant you and your spouse unity and peace and wisdom as you trust Him with this situation. We stand on the promise in Phil 4:19 that God will supply all your need and in 1 Cor 14:33 that God is not the author of confusion but of peace. Father we bring this financial need before you and ask for your provision and your favor over this family and over this friendship, and we ask that you remove any cause for confusion or division between husband and wife and that you cause all things to work together for good. We ask for your guidance and your blessing and your protection over every detail. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son Jesus Christ.
