We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of a work injury and all the struggles that accompany it—paperwork, disputes with HR, unpaid medical bills, and the overwhelming weight of trying to regain stability. Father, we know that You see every detail of this situation, and we ask that You would move mightily on behalf of our brother or sister in Christ. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* Lord, we claim this promise over their life today.
We rebuke the spirit of confusion, delay, and frustration that has tried to take hold in this situation. In Jesus’ name, we declare that every obstacle in the paperwork, every unjust dispute, and every financial burden will be resolved according to Your perfect will. We pray for wisdom and favor in dealing with HR and the leave of absence process—let there be clarity, fairness, and swift resolution. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Father, we ask that You would direct every step and open doors that no man can shut.
We also lift up the physical healing needed from this injury. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."* We pray for complete restoration, strength, and the ability to return to work with renewed energy and focus. Lord, help them to prioritize what truly matters—time with You, family, and the work You’ve called them to—rather than being consumed by the stress of this trial.
We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). This season is temporary, and God is working even in the waiting. Lean on Him, seek His face daily, and trust that He will sustain you. If you haven’t already, consider seeking godly counsel or legal advice to navigate this process—Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."*
Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for our brother or sister today. We declare that this burden will be lifted, that justice will prevail, and that Your peace will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them rise above this trial with faith and perseverance. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. Amen.
