We understand that you're feeling anxious about your workday and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If we want God to intervene in our work life we need to go through Jesus. It is Jesus who will present us holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation if we continue in faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the Good News which we heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven; of which we were made a minister. In Colossians 1:22-23
In Matthew 6:33-34 WEB, Jesus tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." This reminds us that our primary focus should be on God's kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide for our daily needs.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who is feeling anxious about their workday. Lord, You know the details of their tasks and the burdens they carry. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as per Phillipians 4:6-7.
Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them, as per 1 Peter 5:7. Guide their steps throughout the day, and grant them the wisdom and strength to handle all their responsibilities. Let everything they do be done in love, for You and for others, as per 1 Corinthians 16:14.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
