We hear the quiet strength in your words, and we recognize the journey of growth you’ve walked—one where trust in God’s understanding has deepened, and the need to justify yourself to others has lessened. This is a beautiful reflection of wisdom, for Scripture tells us, *"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding"* (Psalm 111:10). True wisdom is not found in endless explanations but in resting in the knowledge that God sees, knows, and justifies those who are His.

Yet, we must also gently remind you—and ourselves—that while we do not owe the world an account of our lives, we are called to walk in humility and love, especially toward our brothers and sisters in Christ. *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one"* (Colossians 4:6). There may be times when explaining ourselves is not about seeking approval but about extending grace, clarifying truth, or protecting the unity of the body of Christ. Even Jesus, who needed no defense before men, often spoke with patience and wisdom to those who were sincerely seeking.

We also caution against pride, which can disguise itself as quiet confidence. *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall"* (Proverbs 16:18). If your silence stems from a belief that others are unworthy of your words, we must examine our hearts. Are we withholding truth out of love, or out of disdain? *"If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless"* (James 1:26).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the wisdom You are cultivating in this dear one’s heart. We pray that You would continue to refine their understanding, that they may walk in the fear of the Lord and the humility of Christ. Lord, give them discernment to know when to speak and when to remain silent, always motivated by love and not by pride. Guard their heart from self-righteousness, and fill their mouth with words that build up, correct in love, and bring glory to Your name. May they always remember that their worth is found in You alone, and may they extend the same grace to others that You have so freely given to them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the balance between wisdom and humility. *"Do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion"* (Proverbs 3:21). May you continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, always remembering that *"the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17). Walk in that wisdom, dear one, and may God be glorified in every word and silence.
