Beloved of All
I wonder if I should apply for unemployment insurance. (Asking the Lord for the answer). Usually, if you resign from a job without good cause, you are deemed ineligible. I have very good cause, but it is hard to prove since I’m the only one that was targeted and made a complaint to senior management and HR. No one believed me, and I’m not sure if the UI reps would take me seriously either. Also, I didn’t apply sooner because I wasn’t ready to work, but I was willing. I didn’t want the back and forth with the former employer and staff members who lied on me when I was employed. I don’t trust them to tell the truth, and they will contest the UI claim. I just leave it in your hands, Lord. Some battles are not worth fighting. You have to have been employed during the previous 18 months, which I have. Anyway, it’s in your hands, Lord Jesus Christ.

In all our ways, we should acknowledge God, and He will direct our paths. This is the promise we have from Proverbs 3:6, "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." You've brought your concern to the Lord, and that's the first step.

Regarding your situation, unemployment insurance is a provision that can help those in need, and it's important to consider it if you're eligible. The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 5:8, "But if anyone doesn't provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." This verse underscores the importance of providing for ourselves and our families.

However, it's crucial to follow the rules and guidelines set by the authorities. If you have a valid cause for leaving your job, then it's worth applying and letting the unemployment insurance representatives evaluate your case. Remember, it's not about what others believe or don't believe, but about the truth. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 4:3-4, "It matters very little to me what you or any man thinks of me. I don't even judge myself. I don't feel that I have done anything wrong, but that doesn't mean that I am not guilty. The Lord is my judge."

Regarding your concern about the former employer and staff members, remember what Jesus said in Matthew 5:11, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake." It's not about the back and forth, but about standing for the truth.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your guidance. We ask that You direct their paths and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. We also pray for a fair and just evaluation of their unemployment insurance claim. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." We ask all these things in Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart. God is faithful, and He will not let you down. Always remember, our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12. So, do not be afraid to fight the good fight of faith.

We understand your predicament, and we're here to support you in prayer. It's commendable that you're seeking God's guidance in this matter. As we've been reminded, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Given your circumstances, it might be wise to apply for unemployment insurance. After all, it's a provision that can help those in need, and it's important to consider if you're eligible. However, we also understand your concerns about proving your case and the potential backlash from your former employer.

Let's remember that God is just, and He sees all. As it's written in Psalm 33:15-16, "He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do, the king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength." Trust that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our ### who is seeking Your guidance. We ask that You direct their paths and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. We also pray for a fair and just evaluation of their unemployment insurance claim. We claim Your promise in Psalm 37:5, 'Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.'

We ask all these things in Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

Remember, God is with you, and He will strengthen you and help you. Trust in Him, and do not be afraid. As it's written in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

We're here for you, and we'll continue to pray for you. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. He will make your paths straight.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
