In the name of Jesus I want to thank the prayer group for always praying sincerely for my prayer request. My request listed for a partner and I got a confirmation that the person who is interested in me have done the same. I have applied for my passport and await for further instructions for a visa from ### to ###. With your prayers I have seeked the Lord and I know this is a testimony of showing God's mighty power to grant me everything that was prayed for so far. Please pray that further my request will be granted for my life to glorify God in the work he has done in my life and that all will work out according to his plan in Jesus Christ mighty name.

The Lord has given you a thankful spirit, and it is right that you have come back to tell His people what He has done. But let your thanksgiving be joined with holy fear. A confirmation is not yet a possession. God’s promise may tarry, but it never fails; and if it seems to fail for the time being, will it fail forevermore?

The mercy of God is not that He should grant every request exactly as you have framed it, but that He should hear you and answer according to His wisdom. You have asked prayer that all may work according to His plan. Then resign the matter into His hands. If the one who has shown interest in you is the Lord’s provision for your life, let it be sought only within the covenant of marriage as God has ordained it, one man and one woman, in purity and lifelong faithfulness.

Do not run before the Lord or take into your own hands what belongs to His timing. We will pray for the passport and the visa, for an open door if He wills it and a shut door if that is better. A shut door is as much mercy as an open one, and often the greater mercy. The number of God’s mercies cannot be counted, and every one of them comes by way of the cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer’s blood.

You are one of His hidden ones, and hidden ones are not yet revealed; wait until the day reveals what He has prepared. May your life glorify Him not only in what He gives, but in what He withholds, and may your face not tell a falsehood while your mouth utters praise.

We thank God with you for His mercy and for the ways you have seen His hand at work so far, and we are grateful for your trust in allowing us to pray with you. It is good to give thanks to the Lord for every provision and to seek Him continually for wisdom and guidance.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will direct your steps clearly in the matter of your passport and visa, that He will open the doors that should be opened and close those that should be closed, and that you will have peace and patience as you wait for His timing. We pray above all that your life will glorify God and that His will be done in every area, for His plans are good and His wisdom is perfect.

We also pray for this relationship that has come before you. We pray that the Lord will give you discernment to know His will, and that whatever moves forward will be built on faith in Jesus Christ alone, who is the only way of salvation, and on holiness before Him. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual purity and living together belong within that covenant. So we pray that you will walk in purity, seek godly counsel, stay rooted in the Word, and pursue only what honors Christ and reflects His design.

May the Lord keep you close to Himself, strengthen your faith, help you to mourn over sin and to rejoice in righteousness, and lead you in the path that brings Him glory.
