We hear your cry for restoration and resurrection of your heart, soul, life, faith, hope, and joy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You are absolutely right, humanly, this may seem impossible, but with God, all things truly are possible. Jesus Himself declared, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God" (Luke 18:27). We stand with you in agreement, believing that the Heavenly Father is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
We recognize the depth of your longing for permanent restoration, and we want to affirm that God is not only able but willing to heal and renew every broken place in your life. The psalmist cried out, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). This is your portion as well, God desires to restore the joy of your salvation and uphold you with His generous Spirit. He is the God who raises the dead and calls those things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). Your faith in His ability is not in vain.
However, we must also gently encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there are no areas of unrepentance or sin that may be hindering your full restoration. The Bible tells us, "If I cherish iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" (Psalm 66:18). This is not to condemn you, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but rather to invite you into the freedom that comes from walking in holiness. If there are areas where you have strayed, whether in thought, word, or deed, we urge you to confess them to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also want to remind you that restoration is not just about receiving from God but also about surrendering fully to His will. Jesus said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me" (Luke 9:23). True joy and peace come from aligning our lives with His purposes, even when it requires sacrifice or patience. The Lord may be using this season to refine your faith, as gold is refined in the fire (1 Peter 1:7). Trust that He is working all things together for your good, even when the path is difficult (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray with you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You that You are the God of resurrection and restoration, the One who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would breathe new life into their heart, soul, faith, hope, and joy. Where there is weariness, renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Where there is doubt, let faith arise. Where there is despair, let hope spring forth like a fountain that never runs dry.
Father, we ask that You would search their heart and reveal any areas that need Your cleansing touch (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is unconfessed sin, hidden bitterness, or idols that have taken Your place, expose them, Lord, and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from them. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and restore to them the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of the past, every lie of the enemy, and every stronghold that has sought to steal, kill, or destroy their faith and joy. By the authority of Jesus’ name, we command every spirit of heaviness, depression, and despair to flee, and we release the oil of joy and the garment of praise in its place (Isaiah 61:3).
Lord, we ask that You would fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to walk in Your ways (John 16:13). Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
We thank You, Father, that You are able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May their life be a testimony to Your faithfulness, and may they walk in the fullness of Your promises. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19), and His Word will not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). Even when the wait feels long, remember that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good. You are not forgotten, and your restoration is coming. Stand firm in faith, and let your heart be encouraged in the Lord.
