with God all things are possible..... 😭 😭 😭😭

We stand with you in faith, lifting your heart, soul, life, faith, hope, and joy before the throne of grace. You are right to declare that with God, all things are possible, this is not just a comforting thought, but a biblical truth. Jesus Himself said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God" (Luke 18:27 WEB). We rejoice that you are anchoring your request in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humility and expectancy, asking that You would indeed resurrect and restore every broken part of this dear one’s life. Lord, we pray for a permanent revival of their heart, let it beat in rhythm with Yours, filled with Your love, peace, and purpose. Restore their soul, O God, as You promised in Psalm 23:3: "He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." Let Your living water flow through every dry and weary place, bringing life where there has been death, hope where there has been despair, and joy where sorrow has lingered.

We ask for a fresh infilling of faith, Lord. Strengthen their trust in You, even when circumstances seem impossible. Remind them that You are the God who raises the dead, who parts seas, and who makes a way where there is no way. Let their faith be unshakable, rooted in Your Word and Your character. Renew their hope, Father, so that it is not in fleeting things but in Your eternal promises. Let them say with the psalmist, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God" (Psalm 42:11 WEB).

And Lord, we pray for joy, true joy that comes from You, not dependent on circumstances but on Your presence. Let them experience the fullness of Your joy, as Jesus promised in John 15:11: "I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full." Restore their life, Father, not just to what it was, but to what You have always intended it to be, a testimony of Your power, grace, and faithfulness.

We also take a moment to rebuke any lies of the enemy that may be whispering doubt, fear, or hopelessness. We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of past pain, disappointment, or unbelief in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your truth set them free (John 8:32).

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word, even when the wait feels long. Remember, restoration is not always instantaneous, but it is always certain when we trust in the Lord. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and encourage you, and remain in prayer and the study of Scripture. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the ache in your words, and we are sitting with you in this place where your heart and soul feel drained and even your hope seems gone. It takes courage to cry out for resurrection when everything inside feels dead, and we are standing with you, asking the Father to bring back to life what has been buried.

There is something powerful in the truth you are holding onto: with God all things are possible. Right now, that might feel like a thin thread, but it is anchored in a reality deeper than your current feelings. Faith is not the absence of emptiness; it’s trusting that God’s hand is still on you even when you can’t sense it. The same God who breathed life into dust is able to rekindle the joy, hope, and faith you fear you’ve lost.

One small thing that has helped many in a similar dry season is to let music carry what words cannot. When we can’t form our own prayers or stir our own devotion, hymns and worship songs can gently remind our hearts of what is true about God’s faithfulness. Perhaps this week you could simply sit with some quiet music that speaks of His love, not to force a feeling, but to let His presence wash over you without pressure. You don’t have to manufacture anything; just rest in Him.

We also want to gently encourage you, if this emptiness persists and begins to interfere with daily life, to reach out to a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or even your doctor. Sometimes our bodies and minds need extra support, and there is no shame in that.

We are joining you now in prayer.

Father, you see the weariness and the longing in this child of yours. In the name of Jesus, we ask you to resurrect and permanently restore their heart, soul, life, faith, hope, and joy. Breathe your life into the dry places. Anchor them again in your love that does not waver. Surround them with people and simple gifts that remind them that you are near. We trust you to do what only you can do. Amen.

The condition you describe is not strange to the things observed among the living, yet it is a death most grievous, for it lacks the one thing needful. You have all that heart could wish for in outward form, yet the inner man lies hollow and cold, and that lack makes the whole a carcass. What you call for is nothing less than a resurrection from the dead in this life, and humanly it is impossible. Yet the Word of God is true: with God all things are possible. The arm that shall raise your heart from its tomb is the same that brought up our Lord from the grave. He can come and take away the heart of stone and write His law upon a heart of flesh.

But look not to your feelings to be the ground of your hope. Do not be saying, "There is no hope," for there is hope! There is more, there is security, there is certainty to every soul that trusts in Jesus. The rope of mercy is cast to the sinner, and the command is to lay hold of it. Faith, and faith alone, is the agent of heart purification. Faith is that branch of hyssop which, being dipped in the blood of Jesus, makes the heart clean from sin. You cannot love Christ and love sin; faith, by revealing His loveliness, kindles a fire of love that becomes a powerful element of purification. Look, then, poor Soul, away from yourself that you may have yourself renewed.

The faith that can save you need not be strong faith; the least faith in Jesus is the gift of God. Though it be as a grain of mustard seed, it can do wonders. The sinking Peter was not saved by the strength of his faith, but by the strength of that gracious hand which was stretched out to catch him amid the flood. If there is a soul here that, despite his backsliding, can yet feel, "I am trusting in Jesus and if I perish, I will perish there," there is hope for that soul. The remainders of faith are the sparks among the ashes of piety, and the Lord blows on these to raise a fire.

Truly, I have to preach a blessed Gospel to you, poor Backslider! Are you behind the pillar there? If so, may the arrow glance right round it and find you out. The Lord will restore to you the joy of His salvation. You can have back your early joy. God will rejoice over a poor soul that has wandered far from Him, but at last returns. He can create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you. It is through the eyes that look to Jesus, that Jesus looks and lets fresh light and hope into the soul. Oh that you who have this lingering faith in the Lord may now receive a look from Him which shall work in you a bitter, salutary, saving repentance, without which you can never be restored.

The vital question now rests with your own soul. Have you faith? Do you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart?
