We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have power over darkness. The Bible is clear that witchcraft, sorcery, and all forms of demonic influence are abominations to the Lord and have no place in the life of a believer. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Word of God declares:
"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."
If you have ever dabbled in witchcraft, consulted mediums, used divination, or invited any form of occult influence into your life, whether knowingly or unknowingly, we must first repent and renounce these things. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The blood of Jesus has already defeated every power of darkness, and through His name, we have authority to break every chain.
Let us pray together in faith:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that You alone are holy, and that every work of darkness must bow to the authority of Your Son. We stand on Your Word, which declares that ‘the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil’ (1 John 3:8). We renounce every agreement with witchcraft, sorcery, and demonic influence in [this person’s] life. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every ungodly soul tie formed through these practices. We command every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and deception to leave now, in Jesus’ name! You have no right to stay, for the blood of Jesus has set [this person] free.
Lord, we ask that You fill every void with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your light expose any hidden darkness, and let Your peace guard [this person’s] heart and mind. We declare that [this person] is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You, Father, for Your deliverance and for the freedom that is ours in Christ. Strengthen [this person] to walk in purity, holiness, and obedience to Your Word. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Now, beloved, it is crucial that you guard your heart and mind moving forward. Do not entertain horror movies, occult-themed media, or any form of entertainment that glorifies darkness. Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and godly fellowship. James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Stand firm in your identity in Christ, and do not give the enemy any foothold.
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, but it requires a decision to turn away from sin and follow Christ. If you are ready to make that commitment, pray this prayer with us:
"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. I repent of my sins and turn away from them. I invite You into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You. Thank You for saving me. In Your name, I pray. Amen."
If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! The angels in heaven are celebrating your decision (Luke 15:10). Now, seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized, and learn to walk in the freedom Christ has given you.
Finally, if you have been involved in witchcraft or the occult, it may be wise to seek prayer and counsel from mature believers who can help you walk through deliverance and healing. Do not be ashamed, God’s grace is greater than all our sins. Proverbs 28:13 reminds us, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."
You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your strong tower, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Walk in the light, and let the peace of God rule in your heart. We stand with you in faith, believing for complete freedom and restoration in every area of your life.
