Witchcraft torment

We hear the depth of your pain and exhaustion after six years of torment and we stand with you in prayer seeking God's deliverance and peace in Jesus' name. The Lord sees your affliction and He is near to those who are oppressed and He hears the cry of the afflicted, Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
We want to speak with love and truth about witchcraft and about the prayer for God to rip them limb from limb. Scripture is clear that witchcraft and sorcery are real and are an abomination before God, Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns against these practices, and we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. At the same time we are taught not to pray for violent vengeance upon people. God says in Romans 12:19 Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord, and Jesus calls us to a higher way when He says in Matthew 5:44 Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We must hate the evil and the works of darkness while still loving the souls of people who are trapped by the enemy, desiring that they would repent and be saved rather than be destroyed. So we gently rebuke the desire to see them torn limb from limb, and we turn that pain over to God's perfect justice and mercy, trusting Him to judge righteously and to deliver you.
We also rejoice that you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only by that name we have authority and access to the Father, Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and Luke 10:19 reminds us He has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7.
For your deliverance we encourage you to submit fully to God and resist the devil, for James 4:7 promises Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Close every door to the occult by renouncing any involvement with witchcraft, divination, or occult objects or media, confess any sin the Holy Spirit brings to mind, and fill your life and home with the Word of God, worship, and prayer. Put on the whole armor of God daily as described in Ephesians 6:11-18, stay rooted in Scripture, fast as the Lord leads, and remain in fellowship with a Bible believing church where mature believers and pastors can pray with you, lay hands on you, and walk with you through this battle. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4, and No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one who has endured six years of torment. We ask You to forgive us for any prayer that has sought vengeance in our own way and we surrender all judgment into Your righteous hands. Lord, we ask You to break every chain, every curse, and every assignment of witchcraft sent against Your child. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, spirit, home, and sleep, and we command every tormenting spirit to leave and to go where Jesus sends it, never to return. We pray You would surround them with Your holy angels, fill them with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding, and restore what the enemy has stolen. Teach them to stand firm in faith, steadfast, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in other believers, 1 Peter 5:9, and that You will fight for them, for Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still, Exodus 14:14. We also pray for those who have practiced witchcraft against them, that You would bring conviction, open their eyes, and lead them to repentance and salvation if it be Your will, but we ask that You stop their works and render them powerless. Heal the years of trauma, renew their mind by Your Word, and let them know they are deeply loved, protected, and more than a conqueror through Christ. We declare freedom, soundness, and rest over them now, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and deliverer, Amen.

Six years of torment is a weary and heavy burden to bear, and your cry for deliverance has been heard. The Lord knows the weight of this affliction, and He has not shut His ear to those who seek Him. We do not take lightly the distress you have endured, and we bring your cause before the throne of grace with compassion and earnest prayer.
Deliverance is of the Lord, and it must be accomplished by His hand alone. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. As Israel was brought forth when the lamb was slain, so our deliverance from every dark power is solely through the ransom which God Himself has found and given in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He has borne the penalty and broken the power of darkness, and in Him we are delivered from the pit. We cannot claim deliverance by our own strength, but we look altogether and alone to our heavenly Father who brings forth His people with a mighty hand.
You asked that God would rip those who torment you limb from limb. We understand the anguish that would prompt such a prayer, yet we cannot pray in that way, for vengeance belongs to the Lord and He calls His people to a different path. Our Saviour, when He was reviled, prayed for His enemies, and we are taught to bless those who curse us and to pray for those who despitefully use us, that they might repent and find mercy. So we will not ask God to destroy persons made in His image, but we will ask Him to destroy the works of darkness, to break every chain of oppression and fear, to rebuke every evil influence, and to bring you into liberty and peace in Christ.
Let us pray together for your deliverance. Our Father in heaven, we come in the name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who is our only ransom and our sure deliverance. Look with tender pity upon this Thy suffering child who has been tormented these six years. Deliver from the power of darkness, guard heart and mind and dwelling, and cover with the blood of the Lamb. Break the fear and oppression that has so long afflicted, grant quiet sleep and settled peace, and fill the heart with faith and hope. If there are those who practice evil against this soul, we ask not for their destruction but for Thy justice and Thy mercy, that Thou wouldst stay their hand, bring them to repentance, and save them by the same grace that saves us. Bring forth this afflicted one not only delivered but enriched with silver and gold of spiritual blessing, that he may live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask this trusting that Thou art the God who hears and answers, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Take heart and continue to seek the Lord daily in His Word and in prayer, and keep close fellowship with faithful believers who can walk with you and uphold you. If this torment presses heavily upon body and mind, seek also the care of trusted pastors and wise counselors near you. The Lord has chastened sorely, but He has not given over to death, and those whom He delivers He calls to live and declare His goodness. May He whisper to your heart sweet assurance of coming deliverance, and may you yet sing a song of deliverance for the greater salvation wrought by Christ.

Six years of torment is a long and heavy burden to carry, and we hear the exhaustion and pain in your request. We are praying for you and we take your suffering seriously.
You asked us to pray that God would rip those who torment you limb from limb in Jesus name. Out of love for you and faithfulness to Scripture we cannot pray that prayer. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He does not call us to ask for the destruction of people, even those who do evil against us. The Scriptures teach us to seek deliverance from evil and to leave judgment in God's hands, while we pursue mercy, forgiveness and amendment of life.
God has provided a better way of deliverance for you. He has given baptism for the remission of sins, deliverance from vengeance, an inheritance in His kingdom, and He has poured His Spirit into the hearts of those who trust in Christ. That is the power that breaks oppression and witchcraft, not our own anger. Christ alone is our deliverance from evil and our hope of sonship with God.
The delay of God's judgment is not for us to seek revenge, but to make room for repentance and healing. Even Manasseh, who filled Jerusalem with great wickedness, was washed clean when he turned to God in repentance and consideration. How much more will God hear you when you turn to Him for mercy. Forgiveness and prayer for those who harm us is not a heavy burden. It is the light and easy way God has given so that our own hearts can find refreshment and be freed from the poison of hatred. To hold onto enmity is the heavier toil.
We also know that the soul in great suffering longs for relief and for justice. God sees that longing. He promises that He will judge with perfect righteousness, crowning those who endure in faith and dealing justly with those who do evil. Our first prayer therefore is for your deliverance and reward, not for another's destruction. We are called not to hand others over to extreme vengeance, but to correct with tenderness and to pray even for our enemies that they might repent and live.
So this is how we are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior:
We pray that the Lord Jesus would lift this torment from you, cover you with His protection, forgive your sins, fill you with His Holy Spirit, and give you peace and rest after these long years. We pray He would break every work of witchcraft and darkness against you, guard your mind and body, and lead you into the freedom and kingdom He has promised to His children.
