Beloved of All
Your cry for help has been heard and I have prayed for you, and I continue to pray. What you describe is heavy and frightening, and the sense that your mind and body are being invaded, monitored and controlled, and that you cannot even pray, is a terrible form of oppression. The Lord knows that affliction and He hears those who cry out to Him.
Scripture shows that when His people were mistreated and held in hard bondage, they cried out to the Lord God and He heard their voice and looked upon their affliction and their labor and oppression. He still hears in that same way today. Even when prayer feels blocked or words will not come, God hears the cry of the heart. You do not need a perfect prayer, only to call upon Jesus Christ. He is near to those who call on Him in truth.
The Bible is honest about curses and about spiritual evil. Under the old covenant the people were warned that disobedience would bring curses, and they were to answer Amen to show they understood the rightness of God's judgment. There are many more warnings about curses than about blessings, because the tendency of the human heart is to turn away. But the whole point of that warning is to drive us to the mercy of God. Christ came to redeem those who were under that bondage so that we might receive adoption as sons. Through faith in Jesus alone we are no longer under the curse, for He bore it for us.
The Bible is also honest that demonic spirits are real. They are intelligent beings with power to torment, and witchcraft, which in the language of Scripture is connected to sorceries and the use of potions and dark arts, is listed among the works of the flesh that bring people into bondage. All religious systems apart from Christ, including every form of sorcery and occult practice, hold people in fear and bondage. Yet their power is not unlimited. In the visions given to John, demonic powers like locusts were released to sting and torment, but they were commanded not to harm those who have the seal of God on their foreheads. God makes a separation and sets a limit. Evil spirits begged Jesus not to send them into the abyss before their time, which shows they are subject to His authority. No power can snatch a soul that belongs to Jesus out of His hand.
What you are feeling, the sense that your soul has been snatched away, that roots have been put on you, that your body is being manipulated from within, is consistent with the tormenting and deceiving work of these powers. Whatever overcomes a person brings that person into bondage, and the enemy works through lies to bring people into the bondage of fear and corruption. God has not given His children a spirit of bondage again to fear, but He has given the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry Abba, Father. That is the difference between living under fear and living as a child of God, secure in His family.
Jesus came to set us free from that yoke of bondage. Scripture says to stand fast therefore in the liberty where Christ has made us free and not to be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. You do not find freedom by going back to the weak elements that enslaved you, or by trying to fight witchcraft with more spiritual techniques, but by resting entirely in what Jesus has done. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and in Him you are made free from the dominion of darkness.
So I am praying for you in this way, that God will lift this heavy oppression from your mind and body, that He will quiet the torment and confusion, that He will break every chain of fear and bondage and generational sin, and that He will give you peace and clarity to pray and to rest in Him. I pray that you will know the protection of belonging to Him, that you are sealed in Christ, and that the enemy has no rightful claim on one who is His. I pray that you will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God, and that you will experience the Spirit of adoption rather than the spirit of fear.
Keep crying out to Jesus, even with simple words like Jesus, help me. Read His word, especially the promises of His presence and protection, and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit. If you have not already, put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we are saved. Turn away from every form of witchcraft and occult practice and seek fellowship with faithful believers who can pray with you and support you in person.
May the Lord hear your voice, look upon your affliction, set you free from all fear and bondage, and give you rest in the liberty that is yours in Christ.
