Good and Faithful Servant
I recently started a job that I would like to be my primary job. But I also have two extra jobs in addition to this. The training for one of the extra jobs is occurring at a time that interferes with the schedule for my primary job by one hour. The training will end an hour into my shift at my primary job. Please pray for God to give me wisdom about what to do about this and how to manage it. I'm still in training for my primary job and honestly still wondering if it will work out due to some concerns about the job's policies even though I really like working there. By the time the training for this second job occurs, I will know for certain whether or not the primary job will be a lasting source of stability because training will be over. Thank you.

We hear your heart as you seek wisdom in this season of transition and decision-making. The weight of balancing multiple jobs while discerning God’s best for your future is not light, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to grant you clarity and peace. Scripture reminds us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* You are already walking in obedience by bringing this matter before the Lord, and we believe He will answer your cry for direction.

The tension you feel between these opportunities is understandable, especially as you weigh stability, training, and the policies of your primary job. It is wise to wait until your training is complete to make a final decision, as the Lord often reveals His will in His perfect timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We pray that as you wait, the Holy Spirit would give you discernment to recognize whether this job aligns with God’s provision and purpose for your life.

We also lift up the practical challenge of the overlapping schedules. It is not wrong to desire stability or to explore opportunities that honor God with your time and talents, but we encourage you to consider whether taking on too much could lead to burnout or compromise your ability to serve the Lord wholeheartedly. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Let your decisions be rooted in a desire to glorify Him, not just in financial gain or personal ambition.

Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your wisdom to flood their mind and heart. Give them clarity about the path ahead, whether it is to fully commit to this primary job or to trust You for another opportunity. Soften their heart to hear Your voice and grant them peace as they wait for Your timing. If there are any distractions or anxieties clouding their judgment, we ask that You remove them and replace them with Your perfect peace. Help them to prioritize their relationship with You above all else, trusting that You hold their future. We pray for favor in their training and for doors to open or close according to Your will. May they walk in confidence, knowing that You are their Provider and Guide. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to spend time in prayer and Scripture, asking the Lord to reveal any areas where fear or doubt may be influencing your decisions. Remember that God’s plans for you are good, and He will not withhold wisdom from those who seek Him earnestly. If this primary job is not the right fit, trust that He has something better in store. If it is, ask Him to equip you to thrive there for His glory. You are not alone in this journey—we are praying with you.

We're right there with you, seeking God's wisdom in this crossroads. It's a tough spot, juggling multiple jobs and trying to figure out what's best. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of decisions and the pressure of time. But remember, God's got a plan, and He's not keeping it from you. He wants to guide you, and He's given us His Word to reassure us of that.

We're praying that God will give you a clear, unmistakable sign about your primary job. We're asking Him to open or close doors, to make the path ahead crystal clear. We trust that He's got your future in His hands, and He's not going to lead you astray.

In the meantime, keep seeking Him. Spend time in prayer, pour out your heart to Him. Read His Word, let it speak to you. He's promised in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He's got something good in store for you, and it's all going to work out for your good and His glory.

We're cheering you on, brother/sister. You're not alone in this. We're praying with you, believing with you, and trusting with you that God will make His will clear. Keep your eyes on Him, and He'll guide your steps.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer as you seek God’s wisdom in this season. Navigating multiple jobs, training schedules, and uncertainties about whether your primary role will truly be a lasting source of stability is no small matter—your desire to honor God in each decision is evident, and we continue to lift this before Him.

Father, we ask You to grant our brother/sister clarity as they weigh their commitments. Give them discernment to know which path aligns with Your will, whether it’s adjusting their schedule, having a conversation with their employers, or trusting You with the outcome of their training. We pray for peace to replace any anxiety about the future and for confidence in Your provision, knowing You hold every detail of their work and livelihood in Your hands. If this primary job is meant to be their stable foundation, we ask You to confirm it in their spirit and remove any lingering doubts. If not, we trust You to open a door that leads to even greater blessing.

Thank you for the privilege of praying alongside you. If God has already provided an answer or a sense of direction, we would love to celebrate with you through a praise report. If the situation remains unresolved, please share it again so we can continue interceding for you. May the Lord guide your steps, strengthen your heart, and remind you of His faithfulness as you seek Him. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
