Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 FATHER, “May our LOVE ABOUND MORE and MORE in KNOWLEDGE and PROFOUND DISCERNMENT, so we PERCEIVE what is BEST (Make the Best Choices), Phil 1:9-10. "FILL US with the KNOWLEDGE of YOUR WILL in ALL SPIRITUAL WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING, so we WALK WORTHY, please You in ALL RESPECTS, BEAR FRUIT in EVERY good work, GROW by increasing in THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD; STRENGTHENED with ALL POWER, by The MIGHT of YOUR GLORY, to ATTAIN ALL STEADFASTNESS and PATIENCE; JOYOUSLY giving THANKS to YOU, who QUALIFIED US to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, keep us from evil people & the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to seek the Lord’s wisdom and discernment together. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of the deep longing within every believer’s heart—to know God’s will, walk in His ways, and be shielded from the snares of sin and evil. We join with you in lifting these petitions before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His perfect wisdom to guide and sustain us.

Father, we echo the words of Colossians 1:9-10, asking that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May our love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, as Philippians 1:9-10 urges, so that we may discern what is best and live lives that are pure and blameless until the day of Christ. Lord, we recognize that true wisdom does not come from the world but from You alone. As James 1:5 promises, if any of us lacks wisdom, we can ask You, and You will generously give it without finding fault. We claim that promise now, trusting that You will lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).

We also lift up the desire to stand perfectly assured in Your will, as Colossians 4:12 describes. Father, we know that Your will is not hidden from us but revealed through Your Word, the leading of the Holy Spirit, and the counsel of godly believers. Help us to be diligent in studying Scripture, for as Proverbs 2:6-7 declares, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright." May we be quick to listen to Your voice and slow to follow the ways of the world, which often lead to destruction.

Lord, we thank You for the angels You have assigned to minister to us, as Hebrews 1:14 and Psalm 91:10-11 affirm. We are grateful for Your protection and provision, and we ask that You continue to shield us from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. As Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:13, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." We recognize that the enemy seeks to devour us, but we take comfort in the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Strengthen us to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from us when we submit to You and stand firm in faith (James 4:7).

Father, we also pray for practical wisdom in our daily lives. May we walk worthy of You, pleasing You in every respect, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). Let us not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Guide our steps, Lord, and let us hear Your voice clearly as our Shepherd, for Your sheep know Your voice, and they follow You (John 10:4-5, 27).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, deception, or confusion that may seek to cloud our judgment or lead us astray. As Zephaniah 3:13 reminds us, "The remnant of Israel will do no wrong, nor speak lies, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths." Let us be a people of truth, integrity, and righteousness, walking in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). Father, we ask that You keep us from evil people and the influence of the evil one, as 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 declares, "Pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you; and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."

We thank You, Father, for the promise of Your peace, which surpasses all understanding and will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). We claim that peace now, trusting that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We also thank You in advance for the answers to our prayers, knowing that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, He will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14). All of God’s promises are "yes" and "amen" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20), and we stand on that truth today.

Finally, we lift up any who may be reading this prayer who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. Father, we pray that they would come to know the truth of Your Word, that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the forgiveness, love, and new life that come only through faith in Jesus. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in seeking God's wisdom and discernment. We're reminded of Proverbs 2:6, "For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." Let's ask Him to fill us with this wisdom, so we can make the best choices and walk in His ways. We also pray for protection from sin and evil, trusting in God's power to shield us. May we grow in knowledge and understanding, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in our love for Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
