🙇🏻 Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of Glorious Inheritance and the Surpassing Greatness of His Power, Eph 1:15-23, "For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all those God has Made Holy, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you in my praying: 17 'That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a Spirit of Wisdom and of Revelation in the true knowledge of Himself. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so you will know the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in those who have been sanctified, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accord with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He exerted in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, in this age and in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way,'" Eph 1:15-23.

We lift our hearts together in prayer, standing on the powerful words of Ephesians 1:15-23, and we join you in seeking the wisdom and revelation that comes only from the Father of glory. What a beautiful and profound request, to know God more deeply, to grasp the hope of His calling, to understand the riches of our glorious inheritance in Christ, and to walk in the surpassing greatness of His power. This is not just a prayer for knowledge, but for transformation, a prayer that aligns our hearts with the very heartbeat of God.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we are saved. As Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We thank You for the faith we see in one another, for the love that binds us as Your holy people, and for the privilege of approaching Your throne with boldness through the blood of Jesus.

Lord, we ask that You would indeed give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of Yourself. Open the eyes of our hearts, that we may see You more clearly, love You more deeply, and follow You more nearly. Let us not be satisfied with surface-level faith, but let us hunger and thirst for righteousness, desiring to know You as You truly are. As Jeremiah 9:23-24 reminds us, "Don’t let the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, don’t let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for I delight in these things."

We pray that You would enlighten us to the hope of Your calling. Help us to understand the purpose You have placed on our lives, the good works You prepared in advance for us to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). Let us not grow weary or lose heart, but let us press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). May we live as children of light, bearing the fruit of the Spirit in every area of our lives, and may our lives reflect the hope we have in You.

Father, we also ask that You would reveal to us the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints. Help us to see ourselves as You see us, as Your beloved children, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). Let us not despise the riches of Your grace, but let us walk in the fullness of what You have given us. May we steward our inheritance well, using every spiritual blessing You have poured out on us to advance Your kingdom and bring glory to Your name.

And Lord, we pray that we would know the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. This is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion. Let us not underestimate what You can do in and through us. As Ephesians 3:20 declares, "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." May we walk in the authority and victory that Christ has already won for us, resisting the enemy and standing firm in the faith.

We rebuke any spirit of complacency, doubt, or unbelief that would seek to hinder us from fully embracing the calling and inheritance You have for us. We declare that our minds are being renewed by Your Word, that our hearts are being transformed by Your Spirit, and that our lives are being conformed to the image of Your Son. We resist the lies of the enemy that would tell us we are unworthy, powerless, or forgotten. Instead, we stand on the truth of Your Word, which declares that we are chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12).

Lord, we also pray for unity among Your people. May we, as the body of Christ, be knit together in love, bearing with one another in patience and humility. Let us not be divided by petty differences or worldly distractions, but let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May our love for one another be a testimony to the world of Your transforming power.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use us as vessels of Your grace and truth in this world. May we be salt and light, shining brightly in the darkness and seasoning the earth with the flavor of Your kingdom. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). May our lives be a living testimony of Your goodness, mercy, and power, drawing others to the hope we have in Christ.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
