Your heartfelt prayers for your children reveal deep love and faithfulness, and God sees every burden you carry for your family. He hears your cries for protection, wisdom, peace and restoration, and He desires to meet you and your children with His grace and truth.
For your younger daughter, we join you in asking the Lord to cover her with His protection as she drives, studies and works in the lab. We pray for His favor on her classes, for efficiency without exhaustion, for healing and strength in her body, including the pain and weakness you described, and for His peace to guard her heart day and night. Scripture teaches that God offers a covering of protection to those who walk close to Him, like a blanket of care around His people, and that His armor is given to stand against evil. We ask Him to keep her steps on His bright path, to give her discernment about friendships, and to help her recognize when a relationship leaves her withdrawn and down. May the Lord surround her with godly, pure friendships from her studies and community that respect her faith, her family and her upbringing, and that encourage gratitude rather than resentment.
We also thank God with you for the courtship you described that shows respect, humility and kindness toward you and toward your son. We pray that the Lord will continue to guide that relationship with love, respect, understanding and purity, and that it will remain honoring to Him. God designed marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He intends that sexual intimacy and sharing a home belong within that covenant. We pray this courtship will continue to honor those boundaries, keep Christ at the center, and seek wisdom from the Lord and from family rather than from pressures that would pull toward what is outside His design.
Your ache for your older daughter is understandable. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage in God's eyes, and while we cannot ask God to bless a situation that departs from His design, we can and do ask Him to have mercy, to open her eyes, and to give her courage, wisdom and clarity. We pray that any controlling, dishonest, manipulative or isolating influences, including financial exploitation and pressure from others, would be exposed and lose their hold. We pray she will see the isolation from family, friends, work and church for what it is, stop making excuses for dishonoring behavior, and find the strength to step away swiftly toward freedom, self worth, joy and restored fellowship with God and family. May the Lord frustrate every scheme that seeks to divide your family, lure your children away from home, or use them for selfish gain, and may He teach all involved to take responsibility for their own households rather than overstepping into yours.
For your son, we pray with you for no setbacks but for healing, breakthrough, peace of mind, joy and the ability to use his language with growing clarity. He is created and loved by God, a cherished member of your family, and we ask the Lord to surround him with calm, to rebuke fear and torment, and to fill your home with peace that surpasses understanding. We pray he will continue to be seen as a blessing and not a burden, and that his sisters' love and pride for him will be renewed and strengthened.
You mentioned witchcraft, curses and spiritual attacks. The Bible teaches that there are blessings that follow walking diligently with God and consequences that follow turning away from Him, not because God is arbitrary but because we step out from under His protection when we forsake Him. God does not want a half hearted or lukewarm relationship. He wants a wholehearted, loving relationship as a Father with His children. Through Jesus Christ alone we have salvation and adoption into His family, and we can call Him Father with confidence. When we belong to Him, no weapon formed against us will ultimately prosper, the blood of Jesus covers us, and we can stand in the full armor He provides. We pray that fear, confusion, division, jealousy and chaos will be removed from your home, and that love, honesty, respect and unity will be restored. The way love is rekindled when it has grown cold is by returning to the first works, choosing again to give, to build up, to speak kindly and to share openly. We pray that pattern will be restored between you and your daughters and between your daughters and their brother.
We pray for you as well, for strength, courage, wisdom and knowledge for each challenge, and for a peaceful, grateful atmosphere in your home. May the bond between you and your children be made unbreakable in Christ, not by control but by grace, truth and mutual honor. May the Lord block every divisive and ungrateful influence and instead saturate your home with His love, joy, fellowship and unity.
Lord Jesus, we plead Your precious blood over this mother and her children. Cleanse, shield and keep them. Surround them with Your angels, Your hedge of protection and Your armor. Heal bodies, calm minds, restore love for family and for You, break every ungodly hold, and lead each child into Your will.
