Your heart for your children is evident in this prayer, and God hears the cries of a parent who brings her family before Him. The burden you carry for their protection, health, unity and walk with the Lord is a holy burden, and He invites you to keep casting it on Him.

Scripture teaches that through Jesus Christ we are adopted into the family of God. We are not made His children by keeping the law or by our own works, but by His promise. Jesus alone is the begotten Son, and we become children of promise when we are born again by the Spirit and redeemed by Him. That means you can relate to God not on the basis of striving, but on the basis of His gracious promises to you and your household. Rest in that adoption as you pray.

The apostle Paul spoke of travailing in prayer like a parent laboring until Christ is formed in his children. That is the kind of prayer you are offering. Keep travailing in that way, asking God to form Christ in your younger daughter, your older daughter and your son, to give them wisdom, clarity and a desire for Him above every other influence.

For your younger daughter, I join you in asking the Lord for His protection as she drives, for His hand upon her studies and lab work, and for wisdom to work diligently without harming her health. It is right to pray that she will have eyes to see what is best for her health, her schedule, her responsibilities including care for her dog, and her finances, and that she will not be moved simply by pressure or persuasion. Pray that God will give her contentment and gratefulness for the blessings she has in her home, and discernment to recognize when counsel is not godly. A pattern of feeling down or confused after time with a certain friend is worth heeding. Ask God to give her pure, respectful friendships, especially from among those who share her faith and respect her upbringing, and to surround her with His peace and guidance wherever she goes. For her health, including the pain and weakness you described, ask the Lord for His healing mercy and for daily strength, trusting Him while also seeking wise care.

For your older daughter, Scripture is clear and loving about marriage. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and living together and sharing the intimacies of marriage outside of that covenant is not marriage. God does not bless that arrangement, and His way is for our good. Rather than asking Him to bless what is outside His design, we ask Him to open eyes, to restore self worth, to break controlling and dishonest patterns, and to give courage and wisdom to step out of what is harmful and into what is holy and free. It is right to pray that she will again put her faith, her family and her purposeful work before an unhealthy relationship, that she will see how isolation from family, friends and her church community is a warning sign, and that exploitation of finances and manipulation would be frustrated and ended. Pray that God will restore her love for her family, her joy and her freedom, and that she will find her security in Christ rather than in defending what is harming her.

For your son, who has been tormented and struggling even to use language, pray for the peace of mind that comes from Christ alone. He is a child of God by faith in Jesus, and no weapon formed against him will finally prosper. Ask the Lord to rebuke every spiritual attack and to remove fear, confusion, anger and oppression, and to bring healing, restoration and daily grace. God is able to do what is impossible for us, and we do not limit Him by unbelief but trust His power to restore and keep.

For your whole household, God has ordained the family as the basic place where His truth is passed on. Children are to honor and obey their parents in the Lord, and parents are to teach the ways of God diligently to their children, talking about Him when you sit at home and when you walk along the way, when you lie down and when you rise up. Family conversations centered on the Lord are one of His appointed means to keep truth alive from generation to generation. He even designed memorials so that children would ask questions and parents could answer with the story of His power and deliverance. Continue to create that kind of home, where questions are welcomed and answered with Scripture, where gratitude is cultivated, and where division, jealousy, isolation and disrespect are brought into the light and addressed with truth and love.

Human relationships so easily become tangled, between husband and wife, parent and child, sibling and sibling, and children often suffer most when those bonds are strained. The Bible warns that what we sow we reap, and that seeking to make acceptable what God calls impure only brings deeper confusion. The way back is not through striving in the flesh but through returning to the Lord who says He remains married to His people even when they wander, and who promises to bring back a remnant who will truly follow Him.

May the Lord saturate your home with His peace that passes understanding, strengthen the bond between you and your children and between your children themselves, and help each of you to deal with every challenge with strength, courage, wisdom and understanding from Him. May He remove fear and chaos and restore fellowship, respect, freedom, love and unity. Keep pleading the blood of Jesus over your family, asking for His hedge of protection and the full armor He provides, and keep trusting the promises of God who has graciously given you your children and who is faithful to keep those who are His.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your mercy and power over this mother and her children. Guard the younger daughter in travel and study, grant her health, wisdom, contentment and godly friends, and give her firmness to remain where You have blessed her. Bring the older daughter out of a relationship that is outside Your design for marriage, restore her faith, family love, joy and financial integrity, and set her free from control and isolation. Touch the son with healing and peace, loose his tongue to speak clearly, and let no spiritual attack remain. Let Your Holy Spirit fill this home, drive out division and bring in gratitude, unity and love. We trust not in our works but in Your promise through Jesus, and we ask all this for Your glory. Amen
