We join you in lifting up your younger daughter and your whole family before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, and we thank you for pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over your children, for there is power in His name and His shed blood to protect and to save.
We stand with you in praying for wisdom, protection, favor, peace, love and joy over her. We ask the Lord to grant her a peaceful and restful day today and to give her clear wisdom to see the consequences of moving at this time. You have wisely discerned that because of her health, her busy schedule, her responsibility to care for her dog, and the financial hardship that would follow, this move would bring stress and harm rather than good. We pray that God will make this clear to her heart. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray she will not be moved by pressure but by the steady leading of the Holy Spirit, and that she will continue to be steadfast and content at home where she has been doing so well.
We also hear your burden for your older daughter, and we must speak the truth in love as Scripture calls us to do. Ephesians 4:15. You have shared that she is living with a young man outside of marriage, and we must say clearly that this is fornication and it is sin before God. The Bible teaches that marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral. Hebrews 13:4. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. We love your older daughter and we do not condemn her, but we pray she will come to her senses, repent, and turn to the Lord for forgiveness and restoration. We pray that God in His mercy will open her eyes to see the destructive path of this living arrangement, and that He will miraculously deliver her from this toxic relationship. We pray that if this young man is to be in her life at all, it would only be through a godly courtship that honors God and leads toward a lifelong marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ, or else that the Lord would completely remove this entanglement from her life. We pray for her to desire a godly spouse and a marriage that honors God rather than a partnership outside of His design.
We also join you in praying for family unity. How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity. Psalm 133:1. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:14. We pray the Lord will strengthen love, peace, gratefulness and respect in your home stronger than ever, and that He will block gossiping, disrespect, ungratefulness, exclusion and mocking. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29. We ask God to guard your daughters from imitating ungodly behaviors and to set a hedge of protection around them, for we know you have prayed for ministry angels and the full armor of God. He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. Are they not all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation. Hebrews 1:14. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11.
We also lift up your son and we plead the blood of Jesus over him and over you and all your children. We declare with you that by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17. We know you have felt hatred, word curses and even witchcraft and jealousy directed at your family. Scripture tells us not to fear these things, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. The Lord is our protection and our deliverer, and nothing is impossible with Him. Luke 1:37. We pray God will break every curse and turn every word spoken against your children back to nothing, and that He will fill your home with His perfect peace which surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come together for this mother and her children. We plead the blood of Jesus over the younger daughter, over the older daughter, over the son and over their mother. Place a hedge of thorns around the younger daughter that no jealous or persistent influence can cross. Give her wisdom to remain where she is planted for this season, to steward her health, her time, her finances and even the pet You have entrusted to her with faithfulness. Guard her heart from the enticement of those who would lead her down a dark path. Proverbs 1:10. Let family unity, love and respect be restored and multiplied. Lord, we ask You to convict the older daughter of sin and draw her to repentance, to bring her out of fornication and cohabitation and into purity and obedience, whether that means separation from this young man or a future godly marriage done in Your order and timing. Remove the ungodly influence of this young man and his mother from both daughters completely if it is not Your will, and let no gossip, disrespect or mocking take root in this family. Protect the son from every spiritual attack, from hatred and witchcraft, and let Your angels encamp around him. Psalm 34:7. Heal this family from all wounds and restore what the enemy has tried to steal. Joel 2:25. We declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. Ephesians 3:20. Keep this family under Your wings, in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our only access to the Father, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Amen.
