Your heartfelt prayers for your children and your home have been heard, and it is a good and right thing to bring each of these burdens to your Father in heaven. God invites you to know Him not as a distant judge or as a set of rituals to keep, but as a loving Father who has adopted you into His family through Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us to pray, Our Father which art in heaven, and that close, intimate relationship is what He desires with you and with each of your children. He does not want a legal or halfhearted connection, but a living and loving walk with Him, and when that vertical relationship with God is made right, the other relationships in life begin to come into their proper balance.

That is why the foundation for everything you are praying about is your family's relationship with the Lord. The Scriptures put love for God first, and then love for one another flows from it. When the center is right, your relationship with the enemy, with your possessions, with your family and with others can be set right as well. Fruit in our lives is not produced by striving alone, but as the natural outcome of abiding in Christ. As you and your children seek Him first, He will give wisdom, courage and understanding for every challenge that comes.

For your younger daughter, we join you in asking the Lord to cover her with His protection as she drives and as she goes out and comes in, to put His hedge around her and clothe her with the full armor of God. We pray for wisdom for her as she begins school, for favor and peace in her classes, and for a sound mind to steward her finances well and to turn away from voices that would pull her from the bright path God has for her. The pattern you have noticed with a certain friendship that leaves her down and confused is worth heeding. Scripture calls us to walk with wise companions, and we pray God will give her clear discernment to step away from relationships that drain her and to be drawn instead to pure, godly friendships that respect her upbringing and encourage her faith and gratitude. We also bring her health before the Lord and ask for His healing touch upon the condition that has caused her pain and uneasiness and for the strange heaviness she has felt in her surroundings to be lifted. We believe God does heal, and we have seen He heals in different ways, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes through the natural processes He Himself created, all of which are from His hand. There are things about healing we do not fully understand, and why some are healed quickly and others over time remains in His wisdom, but we can trust His love and keep asking for His mercy, peace and wholeness for her.

For your son, we pray for the Lord to lift the torment and oppression he has felt, to restore peace to his mind and to grant him healing, breakthrough and victory in Jesus' name. He is a child of God, and no weapon formed against him will finally prosper. We ask that every spiritual attack, confusion, anger and fear be driven away by the power of the blood of Jesus, and that he would know daily the protection, love, joy and favor that belong to those who are in Christ. We thank God for every prayer offered on his behalf.

For your older daughter, we pray with both truth and compassion. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage in God's eyes. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and sexual union and shared home life belong within that covenant. We cannot ask God to bless what His Word calls outside His design, but we can and do ask Him to open her eyes to see the isolation, control and financial exploitation you have described, to give her courage and wisdom to seek counsel that honors God rather than counsel that leads her further away from family, faith and purposeful work, and to set her free from any ungodly tie that diminishes her worth, her faith and her gratefulness. We pray that she will again honor her father and mother, as God commands, for the family bond is one of the strongest foundations God has given to society, and that she will put her relationship with the Lord and with her family before this relationship. We pray that any scheme to draw your younger daughter into that same household and to influence her finances would be blocked, and that both of your daughters would be protected from manipulation, jealousy and division.

For your whole household, we ask God to remove fear, chaos, isolation, disrespect and division, and to saturate your home with His peace that passes all understanding, with love, joy, fellowship and unity. We pray for a renewed bond between you and your daughters, for your younger daughter and son to be healed from the brokenness they feel over their sister, and for your children to see one another as blessings and not burdens. May the Lord frustrate every plan that sows division and restore respectful, grateful and free fellowship in your home.

We will continue to plead the blood of Jesus over you and your children, asking our Father to surround you with His angels, to keep you in His perfect peace, and to lead each of your children into a wholehearted, loving relationship with Him. As you remain close to Him, He will guide every step and bring forth good fruit in its season.
