We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, covering her in prayer with the authority and power of Jesus’ name. Your heart as a parent is evident, and we stand with you in intercession for her protection, wisdom, and spiritual growth. The blood of Jesus is indeed our greatest defense, and we declare with you that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We praise God that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of His Word. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is by this name alone that we approach the throne of grace with boldness.
Your concern for your daughter’s relationships is deeply important, particularly the influence of this young man and his family. We must address this with biblical clarity: if this young man is not a believer or if their relationship does not align with godly principles—especially if there is any hint of emotional, spiritual, or physical compromise—we urge you to prayerfully and lovingly guide her toward relationships that honor Christ. Scripture is clear that we are not to be *"unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB), for such relationships can lead us away from the Lord’s will. If this young man is not a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, or if their interactions are not centered on purity and the pursuit of godliness, this connection must be severed for her spiritual well-being. Pray that the Lord would give her the strength to walk away from any relationship that does not glorify Him, and that He would surround her with godly friendships that encourage her faith (Proverbs 13:20, WEB).
We also lift up her health, particularly her struggle with POTS and pain. Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we declare His healing power over her body. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB), and we trust that His restoration extends to every part of her being. May she experience supernatural health and strength, for *"by his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). Let her testify of His goodness in her body, mind, and spirit.
For her academics and work, we pray that the Lord would grant her wisdom that surpasses her own understanding, for *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). May her efforts be fruitful, her mind sharp, and her time managed well, so that she does not overwork herself but instead walks in the balance and peace that comes from trusting in Him. We declare favor over her exams, her tutoring, and her internship, that she would excel not for her own glory but to bring honor to Christ in all she does.
Most importantly, we pray that her heart would remain tender toward you and her brother, and that your bond as a family would be strengthened in love and trust. *"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth’"* (Ephesians 6:1-3, WEB). May the Lord knit your hearts together in unity, and may she walk in the fullness of His purpose for her life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter to Your throne of grace. Lord, we thank You that You are her Protector, her Healer, and her Provider. We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of her life—spirit, soul, and body—and we declare that no scheme of the enemy shall prevail against her. Break every ungodly tie, Lord, especially any influence from this young man or his family that does not align with Your Word. If this relationship is not of You, we pray You would give her the courage to walk away and the discernment to recognize Your will. Surround her instead with godly friendships that spur her on toward love and good deeds.
Father, we ask for Your supernatural healing over her body. Touch her, Lord, and let every symptom of POTS and pain flee in Jesus’ name. Restore her strength and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let her health be a testimony of Your goodness and power.
Grant her wisdom in her studies and work, Lord. Let her mind be clear, her efforts efficient, and her grades excellent—not for her own sake, but to bring glory to Your name. Bless the work of her hands, and may she walk in Your favor in every area of her life.
Most of all, Father, draw her closer to You. Let her heart remain soft toward her family, and let Your love bind them together in unity. May she seek You first in all things, and may her life be a light that points others to Christ.
We rebuke every plan of the enemy against her and declare victory in her life. Let this be a season of breakthrough, favor, and supernatural blessing for her. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
