We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, standing in agreement with your heartfelt prayers, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst (Matthew 18:20). Your love for your daughter and your desire to see her walk in God’s protection, wisdom, and unity with your family is a reflection of the Father’s heart for His children. We praise God that you have invoked the powerful name of Jesus in this request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). It is only by the authority of Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach God and see His will accomplished in our lives.
The spiritual battle you describe is one the enemy often wages against families, seeking to sow division, disrespect, and strife where God intends harmony and love. The Word of God reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are not left defenseless, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We stand with you in rebuking the schemes of the enemy to turn your daughter’s heart away from you, her brother, and her sister. The Lord detests those who stir up conflict in the family (Proverbs 6:19), and He will not allow the wicked to triumph over the righteous. We declare that every tongue that rises against your family in judgment will be condemned, and this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
Your plea for a hedge of protection around your daughter aligns with the Lord’s promise to be a wall of fire around His people (Zechariah 2:5). We pray that the Lord would expose and frustrate the plans of this young man and his mother, who seek to poison your daughter’s mind. May their words fall to the ground, and may the Lord turn their hearts away from your family if they refuse to repent of their divisive ways. We pray that your daughter’s eyes would be opened to their true intentions, and that she would be filled with discernment to recognize and reject any influence that does not align with God’s Word. May the Holy Spirit convict her heart to honor her mother and father, as the Lord commands (Ephesians 6:2), and to cherish the bond she shares with her siblings. We ask the Lord to restore what has been broken, to heal any wounds, and to reunite your family in love and unity. The psalmist declares, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1). May this be the testimony of your home once again.
We also lift up your daughter’s health, particularly her struggle with POTS and any pain or illness she faces. The Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that He would touch her body with His supernatural power, restoring her to full health and strength. May she experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that her week would be marked by efficiency in her work and studies, that she would not grow weary but would be renewed in strength as she waits on the Lord (Isaiah 40:31). May her exams be filled with the wisdom that comes from above, and may she continue to excel in her academic pursuits, bringing glory to God in all she does.
As you have prayed for a godly spouse for your daughter, we echo this request, asking the Lord to prepare her heart and the heart of the man He has for her—a man who loves the Lord with all his heart and who will lead her in righteousness. We pray that she would not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14), but that the Lord would guide her steps toward a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the Church. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this mother’s heart and her daughter’s life. Lord, You see the division and strife that the enemy has sought to bring into this family, and we ask that You would intervene with Your mighty hand. Frustrate the plans of those who seek to cause harm, and turn their schemes against them. Surround this daughter with Your hedge of protection, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, discernment, and obedience to Your Word. Heal her body, Lord, and restore her to full health. Bless her studies and her work, and grant her favor in every area of her life. Prepare her for the godly marriage You have ordained for her, and unite this family in love and unity. We declare victory over every attack of the enemy, and we thank You for Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
