Wisdom, Protection and Gratefulness

Beloved Warrior
Lord I ask that You grant my younger daughter a clear sight to weigh this decision about moving. With her health needs, her busy schedule, the care of her dog, and the financial weight it would bring, I pray the Lord will help her see plainly how it would add stress and hardship rather than good, and give her the strength to remain where she has been content and steady. I pray also for the relationship between me and my children. I pray that she will stay gracious and helpful. I ask God to restore love, respect, gratitude and peace between us, and to heal what has been broken. Lord guide my children to not walk on the path of those who do evil, not to pass by it but to turn from it and go another way, because those influences bring strife and division. I pray the Lord will deliver my younger daughter from flattering words and persistent pressures that would draw her away, and that He will swiftly remove the negative influences that are preying upon her and causing havoc in my home. Lord place a hedge of protection around me and my children, Lord have Your angels charge over her, and clothe her with the full armor of God so that no weapon formed against her will prosper. Jesus, I pray that she will have sweet peaceful sleep at nights. Lord bless her with her studying this semester with Your wisdom and knowledge. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your younger daughter and your family before the Lord, for we know He hears the prayers of those who seek Him with a sincere heart and we thank Him for your faithfulness in bringing these burdens to Him in Jesus' name.

We pray with you for wisdom as your daughter weighs this decision about moving. We ask the Lord to grant her clear sight and sound judgment to count the cost and to see plainly what would bring stress and hardship rather than good. As it is written, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We pray she will trust in Yahweh with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding, and in all her ways acknowledge Him so He will make her paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. With her health needs, her busy schedule, the faithful care of her dog, and the financial weight this move would bring, we pray the Lord will give her contentment and steadiness where she is, and the strength to remain where she has found peace, choosing what is wise and sustainable rather than what is pressured or flattering.

We also stand with you in prayer for the relationship between you and your children. We ask God to restore love, respect, gratitude and peace between you and to heal what has been broken. We pray your daughter will remain gracious and helpful and that a spirit of thankfulness will grow in your home, for in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We pray you will be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:32, and that you may honor one another as Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right, Ephesians 6:1, so that peace may dwell in your home.

We agree with you that the Lord will guide your children away from the path of those who do evil. You prayed so biblically, and we echo the scripture, Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass on it. Turn from it, and pass on, Proverbs 4:14-15. We pray the Lord will deliver your younger daughter from flattering words and persistent pressures that would draw her away, for a flattering mouth works ruin, Proverbs 26:28, and that He will swiftly remove the negative influences that are preying upon her and causing havoc in your home. We ask Him to place a hedge of protection around you and your children and to let His angels have charge over her, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11, and Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, Psalm 34:7.

We pray she will be clothed with the whole armor of God, that she may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11, and we claim the promise that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17. We ask Jesus to grant her sweet and peaceful sleep at night, for in peace you will both lay yourself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety, Psalm 4:8, and to bless her studies this semester with Your wisdom and knowledge, guarding her heart and mind with the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7.

Father, we thank You for this mother’s love and intercession and for the daughter You have entrusted to her care. We ask You to pour out Your wisdom upon this young woman, protect her from every harmful influence and persistent pressure, restore graciousness and gratitude in this family, and let Your perfect peace guard her nights and her studies. We ask that You make Your will unmistakably clear regarding this move and give her courage to follow the steady and content path You have provided. We pray all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our access to the Father, Amen.

We hear how much you love your younger daughter and how carefully you are holding all these pieces before the Lord. You see her health needs, her full schedule, the responsibility for her dog, and the financial cost so clearly, and naturally you want to spare her added stress when she has been content and steady where she is. It makes sense you would also long for more peace and gratitude at home.

One thing we have found helpful in seasons like this is to name what is yours to carry and what is hers to decide. You can love her well by sharing your concerns once, clearly and calmly, and then giving her room to weigh them before the Lord herself. That kind of respectful space often keeps the relationship warmer than repeated persuasion, and it lets her own yes be yes and no be no.

It may help to invite a quiet conversation where you mostly listen, ask what she hopes a move would give her, and share what you have observed about her current stability. Afterwards, continuing to be steady, gracious and prayerful speaks volumes. We are glad she has care for her health needs and encourage her to stay connected to trusted providers as you both pray.

We are praying with you for her.

Father, in Jesus' name we ask You to give this daughter clear wisdom as she considers this decision and studies this semester, guard her health and her sleep with Your peace, and surround this family with Your protection. Restore love, respect and calm between mother and children, and draw each heart closer to You. Amen.

Lord, give this daughter clear sight to choose what brings peace, not stress. Restore love, respect, and gratitude between this parent and their children. Remove negative influences, protect her with Your armor, grant her peaceful sleep, and bless her studies. In Jesus' name, Amen.

**Verses:**
- *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart... and He will make your paths straight."* — Proverbs 3:5–6
- *"No weapon formed against you shall prosper."* — Isaiah 54:17
- *"He grants sleep to those He loves."* — Psalm 127:2
- *"Put on the full armor of God."* — Ephesians 6:11

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace, for the Lord delights in love and He is the God of Peace who has prepared everything necessary for a perfect reconciliation.

We pray first for wisdom for your younger daughter. Wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which we steer across the trackless waste of life, and its price is above rubies. Yet it must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. We ask the Father to grant her that clear sight of which you speak, that she may weigh this decision concerning moving not by flattering words or persistent pressures, but by the light of His Word. With health needs, a busy schedule, the care of her dog, and the financial weight you have named, we pray she may see plainly what would add stress and hardship rather than good, and what would keep her in the place where she has been content and steady. May she be led not by the wisdom of this age, which is folly in the next, but by a trust in God which is true wisdom, saying, My faith is in Jesus Christ and in Him alone. He who bought her with His blood shall keep her with His arm, and He will guide her feet into the path of wisdom consistent with the truth of God and righteousness and the glory of God.

We pray also for the keeping of your children from evil, as our Lord Jesus Himself prayed, not that the Father should take them out of the world, but that He should keep them from evil. He honors the Father by ascribing to Him the keeping of the saints, for our escape from evil at the first was by the Father's grace and our preservation therein is by the same grace still. We ask that He would deliver your daughter from flattering lips and from those influences which bring strife and division, that He would teach her to turn from the path of those who do evil, not to pass by it but to turn from it and go another way. We pray that the Lord would swiftly remove what preys upon her and causes havoc in your home, and that He would place His hedge of protection around you and your children, giving His angels charge over her and clothing her with the full armor of God, so that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Whether in study or in rest, whether in going out or coming in, may she be kept by Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

For your home we pray the ministry of reconciliation. God is not willing for the quarrel to continue, and He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation because we speak from experience of the joy which peace with God brings. If you are willing to be at peace with God, there is nothing whatever needed from you, for God has prepared all things that are needed for this present and perpetual reconciliation through His Son, who died to save sinners. Out of that peace with God flows peace within the family. We ask Him to restore love, respect, gratitude and peace between you and your children, to heal what has been broken, and to keep your daughter gracious and helpful. May He teach you all to moderate anger against second causes and to perceive that even smarts and sorrows, when they come from a Father's hand, are not for killing but for curing, for the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.

We pray that He will grant her sweet and peaceful sleep at night, for He gives His beloved sleep, and that He will bless her studies this semester with wisdom and knowledge. May she lean upon Him for all future power with which she shall fulfill her pilgrimage, and may she know that all things are yours when you are Christ's.

We join our faith with yours, asking these mercies not because we are worthy, but for Christ's sake, through whom alone is salvation and access to the Father. May the Lord fulfill His positive prayer in you and in your children, to keep you from evil and to make you grateful for every deliverance from the grave, that your lips may drop sweet smelling myrrh in praise to Him. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
