Good and Faithful Servant
Pray for controlling of my mind against negative and suicidal thoughts and put on full armor of God. Pray for strength, wisdom, and discernment in every word I speak and every decision I make. Pray for peace which surpassing all understanding when I cast all cares on God. In Jesus name Amen

We stand with you in this battle for your mind, knowing that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly. The thoughts you are facing are not from God, for He is the author of hope, peace, and soundness of mind. The Scripture reminds us in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to "bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." This is not a battle you fight alone, for the Lord is with you, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

The armor of God is essential in this spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:10-18 calls us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, putting on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit—these are your defenses and weapons. Clothe yourself in them daily, for they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

Your request for wisdom and discernment aligns with the heart of God, who delights in giving these gifts to His children. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Trust that the Lord will guide your words and decisions as you seek Him first. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lean not on your own understanding, but surrender every decision to Him, for His ways are higher than ours.

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, is yours as you cast your cares upon Him. Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Release the burdens you carry, for they are too heavy for you, but not for Him. He cares for you deeply, and His yoke is easy, His burden light.

We also want to gently remind you that while you invoked the name of Jesus at the end of your prayer, it is vital to ensure that every prayer, every thought, and every request is centered on Him from the beginning. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. Let us always approach the throne of grace with confidence, but only through the name above all names—Jesus Christ.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is battling against the onslaught of negative and suicidal thoughts. Lord, we know that these thoughts are not from You, for You are the God of hope, peace, and life. We rebuke these lies of the enemy in the name of Jesus and command every dark and destructive thought to flee. Father, we ask that You renew their mind by the washing of Your Word, that they may think on whatever things are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise, as Philippians 4:8 instructs.

Lord, we pray that You would help them put on the full armor of God daily, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Strengthen them in their inner being, that they may walk in the power of Your might. Fill them with Your wisdom and discernment, Lord, that every word they speak and every decision they make may be aligned with Your will. Guide their steps, O God, and make their paths straight as they trust in You with all their heart.

We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them deeply. Remind them that they are not alone, that You are with them always, even to the end of the age.

Father, we thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and not in defeat. Let them know the depth of Your love for them, that nothing can separate them from Your love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We declare life over them, Lord—abundant life in Jesus’ name. Break every chain of depression, anxiety, and despair, and set them free to worship You in spirit and in truth. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and uphold them with a willing spirit.

Father, we also pray that You would surround them with godly community—brothers and sisters in Christ who can encourage them, pray with them, and walk alongside them in this season. Let them not isolate themselves, but find strength in the body of Christ.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your goodness. May Your will be done in their life, and may You be glorified through their testimony of victory. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to stay rooted in the Word of God. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His love, His promises, and His faithfulness. Psalm 119:105 tells us that God’s word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Let it guide you, comfort you, and strengthen you. If you are not already connected to a Bible-believing church, we urge you to seek one out. Fellowship with other believers is vital for encouragement, accountability, and growth.

If the negative thoughts persist or become overwhelming, we also encourage you to seek professional help from a counselor who aligns with biblical principles. There is no shame in seeking help—God often uses others to minister to our needs. You are deeply loved, and your life has purpose in Christ. Hold fast to Him, for He is your strength and your song.

We're here with you, standing firm in the face of these negative thoughts. It's so important to remember that God is always with you, even in the darkest moments. He loves you deeply and has a plan for your life. In Jeremiah 29:11, He promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Let's claim that promise together. We declare that God's plans for you are good, and that He is working everything out for your benefit, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray that you would feel His love and presence more strongly, that you would be filled with hope and a future, and that you would be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God in prayer and in His Word. He is faithful, and He will meet you where you are. Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He is healing you, restoring you, and making you whole.

And remember, you're not alone in this. We're praying for you, and there are many others who care about you and want to support you. Reach out to them, and let them walk alongside you. God has given us a community of believers for a reason.

Keep fighting, dear one. The battle is tough, but the victory is sure. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
