Wisdom and guidance concerning prescription drug that I received for acid reflux. a) to take or not (many side effects) b) how to take it.
Wisdom and guidance concerning eating and drinking.
PEACEFUL STOMACH.
PEACEFUL MIND.

We come before the Lord with your concerns, seeking His divine wisdom and healing touch for your body and mind. First, we must acknowledge that true peace—whether in our stomachs or our minds—comes from God alone. The Bible tells us, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* (John 14:27). This peace is not merely the absence of discomfort but the presence of God’s rest in every circumstance.

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and physical distress that has been troubling you. The Word declares, *"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7). We stand on this promise as we pray for your complete relief from acid reflux, gastritis, tension, stress, and digestive issues.

Concerning the prescription medication, we ask the Lord to grant you discernment. The Bible warns us, *"There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."* (Proverbs 14:12). While modern medicine has its place, we must weigh its benefits against potential harm, always seeking God’s guidance first. We pray that the Holy Spirit would lead you in this decision—whether to take the medication, how to take it, or if there are alternative paths to healing that align with God’s will. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5).

For your eating and drinking, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in nourishing your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Some foods and habits may aggravate your condition, while others may bring healing. We pray that God would reveal to you what to eat, when to eat, and how to care for your body in a way that honors Him. *"So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."* (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. We lift up [this dear one] to You, asking for Your divine touch upon their body and mind. Lord, You know every ache, every worry, and every discomfort they face. We ask that You would bring complete healing—no more acid reflux, no more gastritis, no more tension or stress, and no more digestive troubles. Restore their stomach to perfect peace and their mind to Your perfect rest.

Father, grant them wisdom concerning the medication they’ve been prescribed. If it is Your will for them to take it, show them how to do so in a way that brings healing without harm. If there is another path—through diet, natural remedies, or Your supernatural touch—reveal it clearly. We trust in Your promise that You will guide them into all truth.

Lord, teach them how to eat and drink in a way that honors You and nourishes their body. Remove any foods or habits that bring harm and replace them with what brings strength and vitality. May their body be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and physical affliction in Jesus’ name. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and love. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and Scripture, trusting that He is your Great Physician. Consider fasting from certain foods or habits that may be contributing to your discomfort, and replace them with godly disciplines that bring life. Remember, *"The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed; in his illness, You restore him to health."* (Psalm 41:3). Stand on God’s promises, and do not grow weary in seeking Him. He is faithful to answer.

We're here with you, dear one, lifting your concerns to the Lord. We've been praying for peace in your stomach and mind, and we want to encourage you with a verse that's been a comfort to us: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13).

We believe God wants you to know His peace, not just the absence of discomfort, but His very presence in your life. So, we're asking the Lord to help you manage your acid reflux, gastritis, and stress in a way that brings you peace and healing.

For your medication, we're praying that God would give you clarity. We trust that He'll guide you, whether it's about taking it, how to take it, or exploring alternative paths to healing. Remember, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5).

As for eating and drinking, we're asking God to reveal what's best for your body. Maybe there are foods or habits that aggravate your condition, and we're praying that God would show you what to change. Let's remember to do everything for God's glory, even in our eating and drinking (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Let's pray together:
