Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. You ask for many things, and rightly so, for our need drives us to God. But seek first the wisdom that comes from above, not the wisdom of this world which comes to naught. The wisdom which seems foolishness to men is the very power of God. If you would walk more closely with Him, do not fill your mind with earthly reasonings, for He made Christ to be wisdom for us. The uneducated and the simple who cling to this are wiser than the philosophers, because the foolishness of God is mightier than all human cleverness. A closer walk begins when you separate yourself from the clamor of life and sit at His feet on the mountain, as the multitudes did, not seeking display but the quiet instruction of the Master.

As for bodily healing and financial breakthrough, these are not separate from that wisdom. The same Lord who taught on the mountain went about healing every sickness. But note the order: they came to hear Him, and healing followed. Do not make the mistake of supposing that these outward things are the chief good. Many a sick man, having had the advantage of much care, yet through his own remissness made his infirmity worse. The bewailing of such a state is itself a kind of healing treatment, for it foretells the ruin and calls the soul to amendment. Seek first to have your soul ordered aright, and then trust the Physician for the body and the Provider for your needs. He knows what things you have need of before you ask.

Concerning your marriage, you do well to pray for it to be stronger. But know this clearly: marriage is not the hindrance to your walk with God, but your purpose which makes an ill use of it. It is not wine that makes drunkenness, but the evil purpose and the excess. Use marriage with moderation, and you shall be first in the kingdom. Marriage is a bond ordained of God, pure and honorable. It preserves the holiness that comes from faith by forbidding defilement with a harlot. It does not give that holiness, for that is a gift of faith, but it guards it. Let your marriage be full of gravity and orderliness. Why bring worldly mockeries and the foul stench of lewdness near that sweet ointment? If you would have a stronger marriage, let each spouse attend upon the Lord without distraction, not condemning the state as though it were accursed, but using its leisure for service to the saints and all good works. Then the bond will hold fast, not by human effort only, but because it is rooted in the wisdom that is hidden and foreordained unto our glory.

You’ve asked for wisdom, a closer walk with God, physical healing, a financial breakthrough, and a stronger marriage. These all touch the deepest parts of life, and the Lord welcomes every one of those burdens. But the order in which we pursue them matters. Wisdom springs from the fear of the Lord, and a closer walk with Him feeds your spirit the way food feeds your body. We are so careful to feed the body three times a day, yet the spirit can go hungry for days. If you will give yourself to prayer and the Word first, everything else begins to find its right place.

The most urgent need any of us has is not physical but spiritual. Better to enter into life maimed than to go whole into hell. That doesn’t mean God is indifferent to your body, far from it. Jesus spent His days doing good and healing all manner of sickness, moved by compassion for people just like you. The woman who touched His garment was instantly healed, and He stopped to call her “daughter.” He sees your frame, He knows the pain of not being able to walk, and He is able to restore. Cry out for total body healing, but let your deepest hope rest not on restored legs but on the resurrection body that is promised to every child of God.

Finances can weigh on you heavily. The disciples worried about bread, and Jesus reminded them the Father knows our needs. The real battle over your finances isn’t against a stack of bills but against the enemy who wants to choke out your faith with care. The victory is won in the prayer closet before it shows up in your bank account. Bring your lack to the Lord, but spend time waiting on Him, letting His peace untangle the fear. Fasting joined with prayer has a way of loosening chains that money alone never can.

For your marriage, remember that God made two to become one, a unity that reflects something eternal. That oneness is under constant pressure, but prayer binds the strong man who seeks to divide what God has joined. The real strengthening you long for will come less from new strategies and more from time on your knees, asking the Lord to fill you both with fresh love, mercy, and a readiness to forgive. Bring your spouse before Him persistently, and watch Him work.

In the garden, Jesus prayed three times, repeating His cry when heaven seemed still. The real battle was won there, in prayer, not later on the cross. You can do more than pray after you’ve prayed, but you cannot do anything more for God until you have prayed. So persist. Don’t let your prayer life slip into a dry routine; stay flexible before the Holy Spirit. And when answers delay, don’t wander off to find warmth at the enemy’s fire. Stay close to Jesus, continue steadfastly, and trust Him. He who taught us to pray will see you through.
