Problem
House and 10 acres coming up for sale
I am wanting to buy house and land of my own
Renovator’s delight
One lady is acting as a go between – keeps delaying and fluffing about
Its coming to mid November – no arrangement to view property is yet in place
I was told I could look at it in November now it will be empty in Feb/Mar 2019 – funnily enough my current lease is due then and she knows it.
I was initially told by the property owner’s sister’s husband a price and his sister came and sat down and said her brother wanted $... which is 40k less
I just looked at him and said nothing
The lady who is acting as the go between has bought and sold houses over the years
I asked if she could find out if the house was ready to be viewed and she has not been able to come back with an answer for 3 weeks in a row
She’s got the address and is then unclear on its location – suggests we do a drive by but don’t stop in front of the house
She gives directions such as you turn left here and pass this building and turn right into such and such a road and then she does not know after that (me shakes head)
She was wanting a wood fire cooker for her house down here.
She stressed the ease of electrical stove in the property coming up for sale.
I said I liked wood stoves.
She was also eager to interest me in renovations and her willingness to participate and that I could have the leftovers from a house down here.
Praise God, the phone died severing communication with her.
I came away feeling like crying because I think I have had too many eggs in one basket.
I can’t plan for the future, I have made a job application in the area of the property and have great referees but now wonder what if I get the job and the property is not suitable.
Not enough time to plan.
When I do move it is a big move.
