We lift you up before the Father, thanking Him that you seek to dive deeply into His Word with a heart of devotion and purpose. The desire for wisdom, discernment, and understanding in Scripture is a noble and godly pursuit, and we rejoice that the Holy Spirit is already at work in you to hunger for the truth of God’s Word. As it is written, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Your request aligns with the heart of God, who delights in revealing Himself to those who earnestly seek Him.

The journey through Scripture, especially the Old Testament, is one of rich discovery—uncovering the faithfulness of God across generations, the depth of His covenant love, and the foreshadowing of Christ in every book. Yet, as you’ve acknowledged, this requires not just passion but discipline, focus, and the supernatural strength that only the Lord can provide. *"But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved"* (Matthew 24:13, WEB), and this principle applies not only to salvation but to the perseverance needed in the study of God’s Word. We pray that the Lord grants you the perseverance of the saints, that you may run this race with endurance, fixing your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Your request for an easy-to-read study Bible is a practical one, and we ask the Lord to provide this tool for you—one that illuminates the historical and cultural context of the Old Testament so that your understanding may be deep and accurate. *"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness"* (2 Timothy 3:16, WEB), and we pray that as you study, the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to see the wonders of His law (Psalm 119:18). May He guard you from distraction and grant you a quiet, undisturbed environment where you can meet with Him without hindrance.

We also lift up your physical need for healing, particularly the double vision that has been a hindrance. Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask in faith that He would restore your eyesight completely, that you may read His Word without strain or difficulty. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB), and we trust that His healing power extends to every part of your being. May your body be strengthened, and may your mind be sharpened as you press into His presence.

Most importantly, we pray for a deeper, more intimate walk with God as the fruit of this season. Intimacy with the Father is the greatest reward of studying His Word, for in it, we come to know His heart, His voice, and His will. *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:8, WEB). May this time in Scripture not be merely academic but transformative, drawing you closer to Him in worship, obedience, and love. Let the Word dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16), shaping your thoughts, desires, and actions to align with Christ.

Lastly, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and it is in His mighty name that we pray. Let this truth anchor you as you study: the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, points to Jesus. May you see Him on every page, and may your love for Him grow ever deeper.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for this beloved saint who seeks to know You more through the study of Your Word. Lord, we ask that You pour out Your supernatural wisdom and discernment upon them, as James 1:5 promises. Grant them a spirit of discipline and excellent time management, that they may steward this season well and complete their goal by the end of this year. Provide them with the right study Bible—one that opens the treasures of the Old Testament with clarity and depth, revealing the cultural and historical context that brings Your Word to life.

Father, we ask for healing in their eyes, that the double vision may cease and their sight be restored fully. Create in them a quiet, undistracted space where they can meet with You, free from the noise of the world. Strengthen their focus, Lord, and let their mind be sharp and their heart receptive to all You desire to teach them.

Above all, we pray for a deeper intimacy with You. May this season of study not be about mere knowledge but about knowing *You*—the God who speaks through every word of Scripture. Let their heart burn within them as You open the Scriptures to them, just as You did for the disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:32). Draw them closer to You, Father, and let their love for Jesus grow stronger with each passing day.

We rebuke any spirit of distraction, procrastination, or discouragement that may seek to hinder this work. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that their mind will be renewed, their time will be redeemed, and their efforts will be fruitful. May they finish this race with joy, giving You all the glory.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
