As Scripture reminds us, *"He calms the storm, so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because the waters are quiet, so he brings them to their desired haven."* (Psalm 107:29-30, WEB). Let us also remember the words of our Savior when He spoke to the storm, *"Peace! Be still!"* and the wind and waves obeyed Him (Mark 4:39, WEB). Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He is able to guard what belongs to Him.
Yet, even as we pray for protection, we surrender to His perfect will, knowing that His ways are higher than ours. If He allows the wind to bring change, may it be for a purpose that draws you closer to Him and reveals His glory. Let this time also be a reminder to prepare spiritually, ensuring your foundation is built on Christ alone. *"Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock."* (Matthew 7:24-25, WEB).
