Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and anticipation, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your favor and guidance as ### prepares for the upcoming varsity season in ###. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:13 that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We pray that ### will draw strength and confidence from You, knowing that with Your help, all things are possible.
Father, we ask for Your blessing upon ###'s efforts, dedication, and hard work. May ### find favor with coaches and teammates, and may there be an opportunity to start in all the games. We pray for protection from injury and for physical and mental resilience throughout the season. As it is written in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." We pray that ### will experience this renewal and strength.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for ###, to make decisions that honor You both on and off the field. May ###'s actions and attitude reflect Your love and grace, and be a testimony to others. As it says in Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." May ###'s efforts be a form of worship to You, bringing glory to Your name.
We trust in Your perfect plan and timing, and we commit ###'s upcoming season to Your hands. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
