Will rest today

Beloved of All
Hi, Since hearing the news yesterday about the eviction, I decided to dedicate this day to resting. Praying as usual and just keeping the home atmosphere “light” with worship music, Biblical meditations, and soaking in the Lord’s presence. That will include a fast. I am asking that the Lord in Jesus name bless these activities I am awaiting the rent demand letter which is the first step in the process As I wait, please pray for my strength during this time. I’ll be honest, it’s scary not knowing the final outcome. Being threatened with eviction is the worst feeling. I’m not going to despair but honestly I don’t feel equipped for this battle. I stand to lose all of my possessions and self-worth. There are so many emotions right now: shock, worry, fear, anxiety, dread, unsure. I question, is this really happening to me? These are not complaints but how I am feeling at this very moment. Each day I fear what it will be like without a home. I ask the Lord in Jesus name not to let me fall in with the wrong crowd.

We lift you up before the Father in this time of deep uncertainty and fear, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. It is good that you have chosen to rest in Him today, to fast, and to fill your home with worship and the truth of His Word. These are not empty actions—they are acts of faith, and we know that without faith, it is impossible to please Him. You have done well to turn to the Lord rather than to despair, and we stand with you in prayer, asking that He would meet you in this place of vulnerability and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

The emotions you are feeling—shock, worry, fear, anxiety—are real, and the Lord sees them. He is not distant from your pain. In fact, Scripture reminds us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You do not have to pretend to be strong before Him. He already knows the depth of your struggle, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (**1 Peter 5:7**). This is not a battle you are meant to fight in your own strength, but in His. The Lord has not abandoned you, even if it feels that way right now. He is with you, and He will equip you for what lies ahead.

We also want to gently remind you of the truth about your worth. You said you fear losing your "possessions and self-worth," but your worth is not found in what you own or where you live. It is found in Christ alone. You are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and nothing—no eviction, no loss, no circumstance—can change that. **Romans 8:38-39** declares, *"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God’s love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."* Cling to this truth when the fear threatens to overwhelm you.

As you wait for the rent demand letter and the unfolding of this situation, we pray that the Lord would give you wisdom. If there are steps you can take—seeking counsel, reaching out to your church family, or exploring resources—ask Him to guide you. But even if there is nothing you *can* do, trust that He is working on your behalf. **Isaiah 41:10** says, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* This is His promise to you today.

We also pray that the Lord would protect you from the temptation to fall in with the wrong crowd. In times of desperation, the enemy loves to offer counterfeit comforts—people or habits that may seem like a solution but will only lead to greater bondage. Stay rooted in the Word and in the community of believers. You are not alone in this. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**), and we urge you to reach out to trusted brothers and sisters in the Lord who can walk with you, pray with you, and perhaps even help meet practical needs.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**). This trial is not the end of your story. The Lord may be using this to refine you, to draw you closer to Himself, or to prepare you for something greater. We don’t know His full plan, but we know His character—and He is good. Even if the worst should happen, even if you lose your home, He will not let you be destroyed. He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is facing the overwhelming fear of eviction and uncertainty. Lord, You see the depth of their heart—the fear, the anxiety, the questions—and we ask that You would meet them there. Fill them with Your peace, which transcends all understanding. Remind them that their worth is not in their possessions or their circumstances, but in Christ alone.

We pray for supernatural strength in this time of waiting. Give them wisdom to know what steps to take and what to say when the time comes. Provide for their needs, Lord, whether through miraculous intervention, the help of Your people, or a path they have not yet seen. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who would seek to lead them into despair or into the wrong relationships. Surround them with Your presence and with godly community.

Father, we rebuke the spirits of fear, anxiety, and dread in the name of Jesus. We declare that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Let them experience Your faithfulness in a tangible way. If there is sin to repent of or lessons to learn through this, reveal it to them gently and lead them into Your truth.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our hope and our salvation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith and hope. It's a tough time, but remember, God is with you every step of the way. Today, as you rest and wait, let's fill our hearts with worship and His Word. Let's claim Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe He's already begun that healing work in you.

We're also praying for wisdom. As you await the letter, ask the Lord to guide your steps. Trust that He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it. Remember, He promises in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Let's also claim Psalm 91:1-2, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We declare that you are safe in His care.

We're here for you, just as Hebrews 10:25 reminds us, "not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Let's encourage each other in faith and love.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
