Jesus chose to touch the festering sores of the leper (Matthew 8:3). He showed mercy as He touched the crusted lids of blinded eyes (Matthew 9:29). In receiving healing from God, we must earnestly desire to touch Him as well. “People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed†(Matthew 14:35–36).

Dear Lord Jesus, I pray this will remind them of your mighty power and love no matter what we are going through. Lord Jesus, I pray for a mighty healing for this person who has stretched out their hands to you in faith, Lord Jesus, make the pain go away and heal it right away. Let us praise your name no matter what we feel, for you are greater than the pain my Lord Jesus. Heal it now. Heal it now. Let the pain be gone now. I pray this in your name Jesus. Amen.
