Beloved of All
Your request for your wife has been heard and we are praying with you in this time of fear and waiting.
We have lifted her before the Lord, asking for His mercy over the biopsy taken from her thyroid, over the hoarseness of her voice, and over this emergency visit. We pray that the Great Physician will guide the hands and minds of the doctors, that the results will be favorable, and that what has caused her voice to be strained will be healed quickly and completely.
We understand how heavy this is. She loves the Lord Jesus, she serves as a teacher, and her voice is part of her calling. To have that voice weakened just as she has begun a new work is a deep trial. Yet we remember that our faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, and that we rejoice greatly to hear the voice of the Bridegroom. God gave the voice, and He is able to restore it. He hears the prayers offered to Him and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth.
So we pray for her healing and for her peace. We ask the Lord to calm her heart and yours, to take away fear, to grant clear answers from the tests, to restore her voice fully so she can speak and teach again, and to protect the work He has given her. We pray that you both will know His comfort and strength day by day, trusting that whether through medicine or by His direct mercy, He is able to deliver and to sustain.
May the Lord grant wisdom to the medical team, a good report from the biopsy, a swift recovery of her voice, and grace for each step ahead. We continue to stand with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer.
