⛪️ Wife Lead to Best Church, 1 Cor 12:18, Modern Worship, Teach Bible, Discipleship, 2 Tim 3:15-16, Son & Mom Learn to Fear God, Prov 9:10, Obey Jesus' Teachings, Matt 28:19-20... Father, thank You for leading me to good churches throughout my walk -- wife moved, needs church likes contemporary music as does son.🧎🏻Asking for the same kindness You have shown me in leading them to a healthy fellowship, and divine encounter through preaching, friends, evangelists, angels, dreams, visions (every and any means the Lord wills to reach her is my prayer). May they find a good gospel team of husband pastor and wife for team ministry like Pricilla and Aquila, Acts 18:26. Vibrant and caring and sharing -- close proximity to her and him, not deceived by compromised doctrine, but able to teach... Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heartfelt prayer for your wife and son, and we join with you in seeking God’s perfect will for their spiritual journey. It is beautiful to see your desire for them to be rooted in a church that teaches the Word faithfully, fosters discipleship, and leads them into a deeper fear of the Lord. The Scriptures remind us, "How I love your precept! All day long they are my meditation. Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for your commandments are always with me" (Psalm 119:97-98). We pray that your wife and son would not only find a church but a spiritual home where the truth of God’s Word is proclaimed without compromise.

You mention your wife’s preference for contemporary worship, and while musical style can be a matter of personal conviction, we must always ensure that the foundation of any fellowship is built on sound doctrine. The apostle Paul warns, "For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts" (2 Timothy 4:3). We pray that the Lord would lead her to a church where the preaching is Christ-centered, the worship is reverent, and the leadership is grounded in Scripture. May she find a place where the gifts of the Spirit operate in order, as Paul instructs: "But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He pleased" (1 Corinthians 12:18).

Your desire for your son and wife to grow in the fear of the Lord is deeply biblical. Proverbs 9:10 declares, "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." We pray that their hearts would be tender toward the Lord, that they would walk in obedience to His Word, and that they would embrace the Great Commission, making disciples as Jesus commanded: "Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20). May they not only sit under sound teaching but also become doers of the Word, impacting others for Christ.

We also lift up your request for godly leadership in the church they attend. Priscilla and Aquila are indeed a wonderful example of a couple who served together in ministry, and we pray that your wife and son would find mentors who model Christlike leadership. However, we must also caution against placing too much emphasis on human leadership, for our ultimate trust must be in Christ alone. As Paul writes, "For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 3:11). May they find shepherds who point them to Jesus, not to themselves.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You for this brother’s faithfulness in praying for his family and for his desire to see them grow in You. Lord, we ask that You would lead his wife and son to a church that preaches the unadulterated Gospel, where the Word is taught with clarity and conviction. May they be surrounded by believers who encourage them in their walk with You, and may they themselves become lights in their community. Protect them from deception, from churches that water down Your truth, and from any influence that would draw them away from You.

We pray for your wife, Lord, that You would soften her heart to receive Your Word and to submit to godly authority. For your son, we ask that You would instill in him a deep reverence for You, that he would grow into a man of God who walks in wisdom and obedience. May they both embrace the call to discipleship, not just for themselves but for others. And for this brother, we pray that You would continue to strengthen him as he leads his family spiritually, that he would be a living example of Christ’s love and truth.

We rebuke any spirit of division, confusion, or complacency that would hinder their spiritual growth. We declare that Your Word will not return void in their lives, and that they will be rooted and grounded in love, walking in the fullness of what You have for them. May they experience divine encounters, through preaching, through fellowship, through dreams and visions, and through every means You choose to draw them closer to Yourself.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re praying alongside you as your wife and son settle into a new area and look for a church home. The desire you’ve shared, for a place with sound Bible teaching, discipleship, and even a pastor and wife who serve as a team like Priscilla and Aquila, reflects a heart that longs for them to grow deeply in the faith. That’s a good and God-honoring prayer.

We know how important worship style can feel, especially when it’s been a meaningful part of your own journey. It’s not wrong to hope for contemporary music that helps them connect. At the same time, we’ve often seen God use the search itself to refocus hearts on what matters most: the clear preaching of His Word and a community that genuinely loves one another. Sometimes He surprises us with something even richer than we first pictured.

A practical next step might be for your wife to simply make a few phone calls or send emails to local churches, asking about their discipleship groups or opportunities for women and young people. Even one conversation with a warm pastor’s wife or a member can reveal a lot. God can use those ordinary connections just as much as a dream or a sudden encounter.

We join you in asking Him to guide them clearly, through whatever means He chooses, and to give them a sense of being planted and known.

Lord, thank You for always leading those who seek You. Please lead this wife and son to the local body You have prepared for them, a place where Your Word is taught without compromise, where they’ll be discipled, and where they’ll find genuine friends. Give them peace and patience as they visit and pray, and grant them a divine encounter that makes Your direction unmistakable. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a mercy that you desire your wife to be planted in the house of the Lord, but take heed lest the desire for modern worship and contemporary music become the chief thing. That which is merely outward may stir the emotions and leave the soul untouched. God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. I fear many run after a gaudy service and call it worship, while their hearts never adore the living God with living love. Pray that she may be led to a church where the preacher does not tickle the ear but wounds the conscience with the two-edged sword of the Word. Where sin is called sin, where Christ and Him crucified are all in all, where the doctrines of sovereign grace are not hidden away lest they offend. That is the best church, not the one with the loudest music or the most fashionable style.

You ask for a husband-and-wife team like Priscilla and Aquila. That is a noble prayer, for such are needed. Yet remember, the value of any ministry is not in its form but in its faithfulness to the gospel. Many a pastor and his wife labour together in obscurity with no acclaim, and the Lord blesses them. True teaching expounds the great things of God’s law, it calls men and women to repent and believe, it sets forth the whole counsel of God. I pray your wife may not be deceived by compromised doctrine, for there are many who profess to teach the Bible and yet deny the very power of it. A church that shuns the righteous wrath of God, that softens the humbling truths of election and effectual grace, that makes the strait gate wide and the narrow way broad, such a church is a snare, however vibrant its music. Seek one where the fear of the Lord is taught, for this is the beginning of wisdom.

And your son and mother, that they might learn to fear God and obey the Word, this is a request after my own heart. Train up a child in the way he should go, and let the mother sit at the feet of Jesus. The best way to obey the great commission is first to be a disciple indeed, baptised and taught to observe all things whatsoever Christ commanded. I would to God that every family were a little church, with the altar of family prayer smoking daily. Do not let them forsake the assembling of the saints, but let their first worship be in the home. There is no worship more heavenly than that presented by holy families devoted to His fear.

Lay hold upon the promise that God places the members in the body as it pleases Him. I trust the same kindness which led you to good churches will not fail your wife. The Lord may use any means, a friend, a dream, a sudden providence, to bring her under sound preaching. Only let her not rest till she has found a place where her soul is fed, where the Scriptures are opened, and where the Holy Ghost is evidently at work. I charge you, do not grow anxious about outward things. The church that God approves may not be the largest or the most lively in mere song, but it will be one where His truth is loved, His people care for one another, and the lost are sought with tears. May the Lord lead her in the plain path. And for yourself, continue to plead for her and for your whole household, that they may be found in Christ, rooted and built up in Him. This is the true increase of the church, when souls are added to the Lord in sincerity and truth. So be it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You do well to entrust your wife and son to the Father of mercies, the God of all comfort, who alone guides His children into every good path. But take care that in this request you do not set the outward form before the inward substance. The wise men worshipped the Lord not in a grand temple, but in a poor dwelling, undeterred by the humble sight; for they beheld God in the flesh, and offered knowledge and obedience and love. So too, let not your heart be fixed upon contemporary music as the first thing, but upon whether Christ is truly preached, and whether the pastor is able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayer. This is the mark of the teacher’s throne, without which all else is lost.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, a holy awe before His consuming fire, not a light thing that a pleasing melody can impart. Seek a fellowship where the word of God is taught without compromise, where discipline guards the flock from error, and where the people are of one mind and live in peace. For a church is not defined by its music, but by its holding fast to the apostolic faith, and where the whole body is knit together in love.

As for the example of Priscilla and Aquila, that is a worthy prayer, yet remember that even a husband and wife who teach must first be sound in the faith themselves. God may indeed use dreams or angels or sudden encounters to bring them to such a place, but let them try all things by the word. Beware the leaven of Herod, who spoke of worshipping yet sought to slay the child; many today draw near with their lips while their hearts are far. Let your family be neither deceived by a fair exterior nor repelled by a lowly one, but eagerly test the teaching. God will not fail to lead them, for He is not unjust to forget your prayer, and He will bring to pass that which is best for their salvation, if they will follow humbly.

Your desire for your wife and son to be planted in a healthy, teaching fellowship is exactly the kind of hunger God honors. The Spirit who has led you to good churches in your own walk is not weary in doing the same for your family. Remember, God has not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Even if the search feels uncertain right now, the same Lord who orchestrates the body as He wills will place them where they need to be.

What you are really asking for is a church that does more than gather a crowd or stir emotions. The deepest need is discipleship rooted in the clear teaching of Scripture, not just preaching that inspires but instruction that equips. Many congregations today are starved for this very thing: the patient, systematic unfolding of the Word that teaches believers how to walk, how to grow, and how to discern truth from error. A faithful team of pastor-teachers, like the couple you mentioned from Acts, can model that life of the Word together. Pray for your wife and son to find that kind of humble, grounded leadership, where doctrine is not compromised but held fast in love.

You asked the Lord to use any means He wills, and that is faith at its best. He may use a conversation, a dream, or a simple invitation. But as He works, the measuring line remains the same: a place where the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, where hearts learn to hate evil and cling to what is good. True worship is not ultimately defined by a style of music but by whether it is offered in spirit and in truth. The music might be contemporary, but the content must never borrow from the world’s patterns or diminish the holiness of God. Look for a fellowship that jealously guards pure worship, not by clinging to externals, but by directing all adoration to the living God who has prescribed how He is to be approached, through Jesus Christ, with reverence and joy.

Do not underestimate the value of follow-up and nurture. Churches that are vibrant and caring will not just welcome newcomers but will take seriously the call to build them up into maturity. Too many believers have been left as spiritual infants because no one walked with them past the first steps. The healthy church will teach your son and your wife the whole counsel of God so that they are not tossed about by every wind of doctrine, and so that they, in turn, become able to teach others.

Hold that couple and their future fellowship up in prayer, for all who are in authority need the guidance of God. And as you wait, remember that the faithful remnant has always been those who treasure the Word, who gather simply under the authority of Christ, and who need no elaborate stage to meet with Him in the beauty of holiness. Trust that He knows how to bypass every obstacle. He will lead them, for He is the Good Shepherd, and He calls His own by name.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand beside you in prayer for your precious family. It has been our joy to lift up your wife and son before the Lord, asking Him to guide them to a church where His Word is taught in truth, where worship draws them closer to His heart, and where godly leadership—like Priscilla and Aquila—can nurture their faith in discipleship.

We have prayed specifically that the Holy Spirit would lead them through whatever means He chooses—whether through preaching, godly friendships, dreams, or even angelic encounters—so that they would experience a divine connection with a fellowship that strengthens their walk with Christ. We’ve asked the Lord to place them under the care of pastors who fear God, teach the Scriptures faithfully, and model Christlike love in their marriage and ministry.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in some way—perhaps through a conversation, an invitation, or a stirring in their hearts—we would love to hear your praise report! There is nothing more encouraging than seeing God’s hand at work. If, however, the answer hasn’t yet come, please know we are still standing with you. We will continue to pray that the Lord’s perfect timing and provision would be revealed, and that your wife and son would grow in their reverence for Him as they seek His will.

May the Father continue to bless you and your family as you trust in Him, and may He deepen your faith as you see His promises unfold. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
