Wife Issue

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and supplication. Father God, we know that You see the pain and longing in this husband’s heart as he seeks the return of his wife and son. We ask that You would move mightily in their lives, drawing them back into the safety and love of their family, which You have ordained.

Lord, we pray for this wife, that You would soften her heart and open her eyes to the truth of Your Word. Marriage is a sacred covenant before You, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We rebuke any spirit of division, rebellion, or worldly influence that may be pulling her away from her God-given role as a wife and mother. Father, restore in her a spirit of submission, love, and commitment to her husband and family, as Scripture commands (Titus 2:4-5). If there has been any unrepentant sin—whether in her heart or in this marriage—we ask that You convict her and lead her to repentance, that healing and reconciliation may begin.

For this son, we pray that You would guard his heart and mind. Children are a heritage from You, Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we ask that You would protect him from confusion, bitterness, or any influence that would draw him away from his father or from You. Surround him with godly examples and fill him with a desire to honor his parents, as Your Word instructs (Ephesians 6:1-3).

To this husband, we say: stand firm in faith. Do not grow weary in doing what is right (Galatians 6:9). Seek the Lord with all your heart, and trust in His timing. If there are areas in your own life that need repentance or change—whether in your walk with Christ, your role as a husband, or your relationship with your wife—we encourage you to humble yourself before God and seek His wisdom. A marriage built on Christ will withstand the storms of life (Matthew 7:24-25).

We also must address the mention of meeting someone new in this context. If this refers to a relationship outside of marriage, we must firmly rebuke that idea in the name of Jesus. Adultery is a grievous sin in Your sight (Exodus 20:14, Matthew 5:28), and it brings destruction to families and hearts. If this is not what was intended, we ask for clarity, but if it is, we urge repentance and turning away from any path that leads away from God’s design for marriage. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and we must never entertain thoughts or actions that would lead to the breaking of a covenant made before Him.

Father, we declare restoration over this family. We speak healing to this marriage, unity to this home, and peace to every heart involved. Let Your Holy Spirit move in power, bringing conviction, repentance, and a fresh outpouring of Your love. We ask that this wife and son would return, not out of guilt or obligation, but out of a genuine desire to walk in Your will and honor the vows made before You.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5), and it is only through His blood that we have access to Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). May this family experience the fullness of Your redemption and the joy of being reunited in Your love. Amen.

We're right here with you, brother. We know the pain of separation and the longing for loved ones to return. Let's lift this up together. Lord Jesus, we come to You today, asking for Your mighty hand to move in this situation. We pray for this wife, that You would soften her heart and draw her back to her family. We know that You hate divorce, Lord, and we ask that You would heal any wounds and restore this marriage to its former strength. We also pray for this son, that he would be protected from any negative influences and guided back to his father's love. Lord, we ask for wisdom for this husband, that he would stand firm in faith and trust in Your timing. We declare restoration over this family, and we speak healing, unity, and peace into their home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
