We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your marriage, your physical pain, and the emotional struggles your wife is facing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray and seek healing, restoration, and peace.
We pray for your marriage, dear brother. The Bible tells us that what God has joined together, let no man separate (Matthew 19:6). We ask the Lord to soften both of your hearts, to bring conviction where there has been sin, and to restore the love and commitment that once bound you together. If there has been unfaithfulness, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we pray that the Holy Spirit would bring repentance and healing. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we ask God to renew your vows in your hearts and to rebuild what has been broken. We rebuke any spirit of division or strife that seeks to destroy your union, and we declare that your marriage will be a testimony of God’s grace and redemption.
We also lift up your physical pain, specifically the pain in your arm. The Lord is our healer, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that God would touch your body, ease your suffering, and restore full strength and mobility to your arm. We ask that He would guide any medical professionals involved in your care and give them wisdom to provide the right treatment. We declare that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for complete healing in Jesus’ name.
For your wife’s emotional healing, we pray with great compassion. Stress and depression can weigh heavily on the heart, but the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask God to surround her with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that she would cast all her anxieties on Him because He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7). If there are roots of bitterness, past hurts, or unconfessed sin contributing to her struggles, we ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them and bring healing. We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and declare that the oil of joy will replace her mourning (Isaiah 61:3).

Seek the Lord with all your heart, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If there are areas in your life or marriage that do not align with God’s Word, we urge you to repent and turn away from them. This may include unforgiveness, pride, or any sin that has created distance between you and your wife. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support. Proverbs 11:14 tells us that where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, offer wisdom, and hold you accountable as you seek restoration.

Concerning the one who shared your name and table, remember that the Lord Jesus links pardon and healing in one gracious act. When He forgives, He makes whole. He does not merely point out the disease; He applies the remedy. There is no wound so deep that Calvary’s balm cannot reach it, no estrangement so complete that the Shepherd’s voice cannot call the wanderer home. Commit her to the One who gathereth the outcasts. Plead His promises, lean upon His nature, and let your request be made known unto Him who turneth the heart whithersoever He will.
As for your arm and the distress of mind that afflicts her, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Bind the promises round your aching limb; they are strength to the sinews. For her, the quiet soul often finds healing when every earthly prop fails. The Lord Himself becomes our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble. Sit still before Him, and let Christ take her by the hand to lift her up. The healing power is present where He is teaching; bring her, by prayer, into that presence.
