Why Is God Treating My Like This?

Two month ago, I was grossly overworked. Due to some legal issues, our salary was reduced almost by half. Yet, through all this, The Lord opened a great door for me and I was accepted by a huge company. They too, grossly overworked me, with 75 work hours a week. Today I got my salary... a huge part of this reduced..again

I am really crushed. Probably, I am immature spiritually to be hurting so much over those issues, I just thought the Lord was good, yet I feel bereaved

I trust the Lord will work a greater blessing through this, as this must be the way to do his work in my life, to equip me for something greater.

I JUST FEEL HURT..and betrayed and loosing my trust

There is a song called I Believe by Marvin Sapp. There are some spoken words in the song that blessed me. I pray that they will bless you also.

Listen, Listen, Listen…There are going to be times in your life as a believer when you’re going to question if God is really on your side. And the reason why you’re questing it is because of the simple fact it seems like the devil is hitting you with everything he can possibly throw at cha.

But you need to understand something beloved. You need to remember that the only reason why you are in the position you are in now, “Is because God has ordered your steps.†And the only reason why the devil is hitting you like he’s hitting you is because he has literally peeked into your future. And he sees what God is about to bring you into. That’s why you can’t depend on nothing but the Word of God.

I love this song. I have listened to this song for years and it has always encouraged me. But I just want to add this…from my heart to yours…The reason for the test and trials, “Is to conform You into the image of Christ.†God’s desire for you in the tests and trials you are or will go through, “Is that you handle yourself, you conduct yourself as a man or woman of God so the Lord will be seen in your life and that God will be glorified.â€

Let' Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, "Continue to work on me. Continue to daily conform me into the image of Christ. Every test and trial that I go through teach me how to handle myself as a child of God so the Lord will be seen in my life and that You God will be glorified. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer. Amen, so be it, and it is so!â€

PS: When the enemy of our souls (Satan) comes looking for something in our lives, lets make sure Satan see Jesus being glorified in our lives. Live Your Life so when Satan and his demons see you they flee. Don’t let him or his demons have any place in your life.

Where does Satan comes in, dear...it is just financial issues, not temptations or something

And why did God remove my shield?

It must be because I don't ask for God's blessings, as I make myself available to him.

In my prayer I simply say LORD, whatever you wish, do in my life.

As follower of Christ, we are called to deny ourselves, our fleshly desires and comfort lifestyle. We are called to pursue holiness and righteousness, not self fulfillment

My brother, you are exactly right. Not all of the advice on this site is good advice. Remember what the Bible says test the spirit by the Spirit to see if it is of God. I know that God is going to make a way for you. For he has promised to provide all of our needs according to your riches and glory through Christ Jesus. God will never give us more than we can bear. For many are the afflictions of the righteous, but we shall be delivered out of them all. In Jesus name I pray Amen
