We all came to this place, season in our lives, feeling like it is something that we are not going to be able to deal with, and we come back to that feeling time and again even after we realize that we are dealing with it. Not a single stander was made to deal with this, but that is the God part of this. He takes what is intended for harm and turns it to good.
Satan cannot do anything to you that God does not allow. Satan has no authority over you or your life. He has to have permission to access you, as children of God are bought and paid for by Christ.
Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Job 1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
Some get upset that God would allow this in their lives, but what they are missing is the fact that this is actually an honor by God. That God knows that you are faithful enough to Him and beloved enough by Him and He of you, that you will be the example to put Satan in his place, the one to make a fool out of Satan. Just as Job did. God holds you up higher then you hold yourself.
You may not feel able, but God is able. You may not feel equipped, but God is. You may not have the strength, but God does. You may not have the power, but God does. God just knew that you had the love, and that is the only thing that you start out with in this, the love and the word of God.
God allowed it to be you because He knows your heart, and He knows you will endure and prevail in Him. He allowed it because He saw warrior material in you, and now He is going to take the harm and use it for the good by raising you up in Him and bringing out the warrior of Christ that He knows is within you. This is your coming out, your debutante ball as a Christian. And you are not alone in the school of suffering you have to go through, to get you to what He is making of you, that warrior in Christ. We are all there with you.
It really is an honor that He found you worthy of the placement, the training and the tests, by bringing you to this season in your life. The school of Job we should call it.
Most of us arrive here shaken, scared, confused, feeling inadequate, unwise, overwhelmed and ready to bolt feeling this is not for me. God tends to choose the most unlikely people, that is how you can know it is God. We ourselves feel the most unlikely person to handle this thing He has brought us to. Nine times out of ten, we are the most unlikely, but He knows the potential in us, that we do not know is in ourselves. He brings us to it, and He brings us through it and brings all that He knows is in us, up out of us in this battle. It is by His might and power that we get through it, and nothing else. But He knew that you had what Job had to get through and come out the other side victorious. He does not make mistakes, especially when it comes to showing up Satan.
You were hand picked by God to put Satan in his place and prove him wrong, once again, as Job did. Satan just does not get it, he is always wanting to sift Gods children. But, God decides who and how, because He needs victory and He knows who will prevail and who will not. You just had what it takes to prevail and to come up out of this a real warrior that will go forth from this battle to help others and serve Him in a higher level, so here you are in this thing.
When you get to the valleys and are feeling inadequate and plagued, just remember that you cannot be inadequate, because He called you out to it and you are His warrior. He trusted you to take on the battle, and He knows all and He knew you would be victorious, so you are that already, it is a done deal. Instead, bask in the fact that He hand picked you because He knew you could win and that is actually an honor to be picked out by God to prove Satan a liar and a fool.
God bless you, hang in there and hold onto God, we are right here with you and we were all hand picked and we will all prevail just as God knew we would!
