Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Please join in prayers for ###, one of the new guys who started coming to my church and got divorced very recently, the middle of last month, middle of November 2008.
On the first day he came to church, I had a little chat with him. He told me very private issues like he suffers from depression which has kept him from working and would divorce very soon. I had no idea why he told these deep issues with me so easily. As he had a little conversation with Pastor ###, a Filipino pastor, I gave personal information that I asked ### to fill in the card we use to reach new comers to ###. ### took it to different ways (that I am interested in him....???).
Other church people reached ### to let him know that I am not interested in him and he seems to understand (?) a bit. Still, he needs prayers to realize that he needs to recover from divorce. He was married for 13 years, and the divorce after a long marriage needs more spiritual healing. So please pray that he would notice that he needs to be healed from divorce first.
Also, please pray that God would create more distance between me and ###. I don't really want to be involved with him anymore. Please pray for him!
Lord, I come before you to pray for ###. Lord, let him realize that he needs to be healed from divorce first. Also, encourage him to make MALE friends at church for a while. Lord, I don't know exactly who is the best for him, but you know. Lord, please speak to those who can befriend with ### and soften ###'s heart to speak to them. Let him know that who would be the best MALE friends at this point to have spiritual support.
And also, Lord, you know what's in my mind. Please keep him away from me. I know he needs prayers and assistance, but it doesn't come from me and other females. Please create more distance between females including me and ### and let him have the RIGHT relationship at church.
I pray these in Jesus' precious name, Amen!!!
