We understand that you're going through a tremendously challenging time, feeling beaten down and on the verge of losing your home. Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and acknowledging that Jesus Christ is the answer. It is only in His name that we can find true help and guidance. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In your distress, remember that God cares about your needs and He is the provider from whom all blessings flow. The Bible tells us, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" Matthew 6:25-26 WEB.
However, we want to address the fact that you're considering reaching out to a former toxic employer. It's important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than our ways. Waiting on Him is never in vain. As it is written, "But they who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint" Isaiah 40:31 WEB.
Instead of reaching out to your former employer, we encourage you to continue trusting in God. He knows your struggles and He cares about your needs. Cry out to Him in your distress, and trust that He will provide a way out. "He will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:19 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is in desperate need of Your intervention. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, the anxiety and fear they're feeling, and the overwhelming burden they're carrying. We ask, Father, that You would be their strength and their portion in this time of need. Provide for them in a way that only You can, and help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways. Give them the courage to stand firm in their faith, and not to turn back to toxic situations for relief. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair, and we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord, knowing that He is working everything out for your good because you love Him and you are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB. Keep holding on to your faith, and trust that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
