WHEN HE PROPHESIED

Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords, was, is, and shall always be the "Prince of Peace." When He preached, He preached of peace. When He taught, He taught of peace. He walked in peace and He operated in peace. But, when He prophesied:

Mark 13 (NIV)

¹As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!" ²"Do you see all these great buildings?" replied Jesus. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."

Moreover, Jesus went on to clarify:

Mark 13:8 (NIV)

"Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains."

In other words, this prophecy of destruction, along with many other disasters, will repeatedly occur in the last days, which is, once again, not to be confused with the end times.

▪️But, why did Jesus prophesy in this manner? Because He could see what they could not see.

▪️And why speak such doom over a big beautiful city wherein man had obviously invested much time and effort to build? Because man, in neglecting God’s statutes of righteousness and justice, choosing instead to operate in favoritism, becomes haughty in the works of his own hands. Arrogance is but yet another form of idolatry.

Luke 19 (NIV)

⁴¹As He approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it ⁴²and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace —but now it is hidden from your eyes."

Personal experience: Even in sports, legitimate reward, though not for sale, is obtained through engaging God's process. God made it exceptionally easy for this city. He placed an elder woman of God in their midst to be restored from homelessness. But, someone, who didn't understand prophecy, convinced this city, through false teachings, that I was preaching fear. Therefore, instead of restoration, they chose the process of casting me out of a restorative shelter into the gutter of homelessness. But again, the irony is, in trying to engage me in her false prophets' process, this city now comes before this homeless elder woman of God, draped in team colors and logos, on behalf of multi-billion dollar franchises, attempting to force what was rejected in unbelief.

It's not the teams' fault. To be honest, because this is my hometown, I have a natural affinity for them. But, because of the fans' behavior, the process they've chosen is being projected onto their teams.

I only mention sports because so much emphasis is placed on it in this city. If the plumb line (weight of measurement) were education, entertainment, financial or whatever, I would reference that. But, let's be real, if it were that important to this city, and they had believed, their shepherds would have intervened as repairers of the breach; and, as a result, instead of tormenting me and trying to curse my assignment, one athlete alone may have been moved to restore this grandmother, a long time ago; and, in so doing, restored this city's, already damaged, reputation as well.

You've heard the saying, "You can't see the forest for the trees." Well, the craziest part, from the sports perspective, is that while pointing the finger of blame at me, whenever her teams lose, my big beautiful hometown seemingly, "Can't see her blessings for her greed." For example, though not all are located here, so many colleges are affiliated with this city that, not only is a massive medical center operational because of those affiliations; but, because there are so many schools, year after year, they eliminate each other in sports. Therefore, at whom shall she then point the finger of blame? The blessing is the abundance.

Still, who ever heard of the multitude of a city, this size, turning her back on a homeless elder women of God because of a prophetic word written/spoken? Nevertheless, having pled the Blood of Jesus, based God's evidence, I submitted my counter claim 3½ years ago.

Please help me with prayer for the interpretation of the message that was given to me several years ago... I'm pretty much empty inside, but giving up isn't a character trait I can live with, so I'm asking for help from the only group of people that can help me get my thoughts up to HIM.
