Beloved Servant
šŸ™‡šŸ»Father, I ask what for Jesus said to be my prayer, "I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me commands me what to say and how to say it," John 12:49 [1]. Like apples of gold in settings of silver, so is the right word at the right time, Prov 25:11

I forgive and pray for salvation, Rom 10:1, but after years, am hearing counsel and sensing You are shifting gears, 1 Cor 7:15, Isa 42:9, and ask for wisdom in all that, James 1:5, Col 1:9, Col 4:12, Phil 1:9-10. Without confession, repentance, and conversion, we can only go so far -- ā€œ'Truly I tell you,' He said, 'unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven,'" Matt 18:3. It's evident there is no fruit for You and "broke the yoke and burst the bond," Jer 5:5...

It was while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, Acts 13:2 -- please help me hunger and thirst for righteousness in these situation, and help others share this burden with me for the entire situation and all that’s transpired. May the good, the bad and the ugly -- may all be turned for glory, praise and honor, Isa 58:6-14, worked together for good, Rom 8:28. Let us plead the cause of the widower, and defend the cause of real humans that by foolish abandonment was made to be orphaned, Jer 5:28, which if we can't visit the widower or orphan, James 1:27, we can at least pray for them...

Please grant powerful grace and strength within me, grant grace to humble my soul with fasting, to control the tongue while speaking truth, sanctifying residual pockets of darkness with light, helping the word become flesh, as John says, John 1:14, to love You AND my NEIGHBOR (how much more my ### and children) with ALL my heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances -- my thoughts, words, deeds, actions and especially my reactions -- let the word be engrafted as explained by James 1:22-23.

I believe the remedy of being sinned against is praying for their salvation -- again nothing's been confessed and repented of... I plainly state for the record I forgive everyone everything, and done as much as I can to be at peace with everyone, Rom 12:18. Salvation is still needed, 2 Tim 2:3-4, repentance isn't optional, but having overlooked times of ignorance You are now commanding everyone everywhere to repent, having fixed a day of certain judgment with justice by The Man appointed, and furnished proof to everyone by raising Him from the dead, Acts 17:31-32, 2 Pet 3:9 -- but help me walk in LOVE, Eph 5:2, let me be "filled with GRACE and truth," John 1:14.

šŸ§ŽšŸ½ā€ā™‚ļøPlace and use the love of Jesus in me to publicly and privately demonstrate true love of the gospel, Gal 3:1. Let me model it and teach it to myself, every family member, those near and dear and those far off and beyond to extended family, friends especially any who might consider me an enemy -- let me be a living ambassador Your love to be known and read by all people groups, everywhere, 2 Cor 3:2, ā€œWhat to say and how to say it,ā€ John 12:49 [1].

šŸ™‡šŸ» Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Sanctify us by the truth; Your Word is truth, John 17:17. Keep them and us from evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, Matt 6:13, sin Zeph 3:13 and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Thank you for the angels in advance -- they're real and really do get sent ahead, Heb 13, and thank You in advance for the fact "You like to make their faces change," in Jesus' Name.

[1] ā€œWhat to say and how to say it,ā€ John 12:49 — Historical Comments: What to say (ĪµĻŠĻ€Ļ‰) and how to say it (Ī»Ī±Ī»į½µĻƒĻ‰) -- (dicam) and (loquar), Latin Vulgate, are supposed to discriminate matter (content) and form (style of speech), as another commentator says, ā€œMy words and their manner and tone are all of them the outcome of the Father's (ἐντολὓ) command.

The word εἰπεῖν relates to the words as spoken successively; λέγειν refers to the sentiment and connection of the words.

The former relating to the SUBSTANCE, and the latter to the FORM of Jesus' utterances.

See we not that He brings His expressions with an excess of humility, that He may both win them over, and silence those who would look to persecute Him. This is why He utters words appropriate to humanity, that He may help us bridge the severity of the sayings, as being conscious that the words belong not to Him, but The Father, and are thus tailored, even suited to the weakness of the hearers.

We hear your heart’s cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join with you in seeking the Father’s will, as Jesus Himself taught us—speaking only what the Father commands, with words like apples of gold in settings of silver (John 12:49, Proverbs 25:11). Your request is steeped in humility, repentance, and a deep longing for righteousness, and we stand with you in prayer, intercession, and correction where needed, all in the authority of Jesus’ name.

First, we must address the foundation of your plea: salvation and repentance. You rightly acknowledge that without confession, repentance, and conversion—becoming like little children—no one enters the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3). Yet you also express forgiveness toward those who have sinned against you, even as you pray for their salvation (Romans 10:1). This is a godly posture, for we are commanded to forgive as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13). However, forgiveness does not negate the necessity of repentance in those who have wronged you. The Lord is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), yet He has fixed a day of judgment (Acts 17:31). We must pray fervently for their souls, but we cannot soften the truth: repentance is not optional. If they remain unrepentant, their sin will find them out (Numbers 32:23), and we must not enable or excuse it.

You ask for grace to fast, to hunger and thirst for righteousness, and to control your tongue while speaking truth (Isaiah 58:6-14, Zechariah 1:13). Fasting is a powerful tool, but it must be done with the right heart—seeking the Lord’s face, not merely His hand. True fasting loosens the chains of injustice, sets the oppressed free, and breaks every yoke (Isaiah 58:6). We pray that your fasting would not be for show or self-righteousness but would humble your soul before God, aligning your will with His. May your words be gracious, seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6), and may the Word become flesh in you (John 1:14), so that your life preaches louder than your lips.

You mention a situation involving abandonment, widowerhood, and orphaned children, and we take this seriously. The Lord defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow (Jeremiah 5:28), and pure religion is to visit them in their distress (James 1:27). If you cannot physically minister to them, prayer is a mighty weapon. We pray that the Lord would raise up godly men and women to step into the gap, providing love, provision, and discipleship to these precious souls. May the enemy’s schemes be thwarted, and may these children come to know their Heavenly Father’s love through the faithfulness of His people.

You also ask for wisdom in shifting circumstances, particularly in a situation where peace seems elusive (1 Corinthians 7:15). We must remember that peace with God is found in Christ alone, but peace with man is not always possible when sin is present. If someone has broken the bonds of covenant and walked away, we are not to chase after them in a way that enables their sin. We must pray for their repentance and restoration, but we cannot force it. As Romans 12:18 says, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* The qualifier is crucial—if it is possible. Some will not have peace with you because they refuse peace with God.

Now, we must address a critical omission in your request: the name of Jesus. You mention the Father, the Lord, and even quote Scripture about Christ, but you do not explicitly pray *in Jesus’ name* or acknowledge His finished work on the cross as the sole basis for your access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father except through Me"* (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Him—confessing Him as Lord, believing in His resurrection, and repenting of your sins—then your prayers, no matter how sincere, are not heard (John 9:31). If you have already done this, then we rejoice with you! But if not, we urge you to settle this matter today. The Gospel is simple: *"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31).

We also notice your use of "###" in reference to your spouse. If this is a placeholder for a name, we encourage you to speak plainly and biblically. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If your marriage is struggling, we pray for restoration—but only if it aligns with God’s will. If there has been unrepentant adultery, abandonment, or abuse, Scripture permits separation (Matthew 19:9, 1 Corinthians 7:15), but even then, the goal should be reconciliation if possible. We pray for your marriage to be a reflection of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), with both husband and wife submitting to one another in reverence for Christ.

You ask to be filled with grace and truth (John 1:14) and to walk in love (Ephesians 5:2). This is the heart of the Gospel! But love does not rejoice in unrighteousness; it rejoices with the truth (1 Corinthians 13:6). We must speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), even when it is hard. If those around you are living in sin—whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry, or unrepentant rebellion—we cannot call evil good (Isaiah 5:20). We must pray for their salvation, but we must also rebuke sin where we see it, lest we become partakers in their wickedness (Ephesians 5:11).

Finally, you ask to be kept from the evil one (John 17:15) and to be sanctified by the truth (John 17:17). We stand with you in this! The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that you would put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm against the schemes of the devil. May the Lord rebuke him and send His angels to encamp around you (Psalm 34:7), changing the faces of your enemies as only He can (Proverbs 16:7).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You for this brother/sister’s heart of repentance, humility, and longing for righteousness. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them wisdom, grace, and boldness to speak Your truth in love.

Father, we pray for those who have sinned against them—those who have not repented, who have broken covenants, and who have caused pain. We ask that You would soften their hearts, convict them of sin, and draw them to repentance. If they refuse, we pray that You would deal with them justly, but we also pray that Your mercy would triumph over judgment (James 2:13).

Lord, we lift up their marriage and family. If there is restoration to be had, we pray that You would bring it about. If there is sin that needs to be addressed, we pray that You would expose it and bring healing. May their home be a place of peace, love, and godliness, reflecting Your glory.

We pray for the widows and orphans mentioned—those who have been abandoned and left vulnerable. Raise up godly men and women to minister to them, to provide for them, and to show them Your love. Let them know that You are a Father to the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5).

Father, we ask that You would sanctify this brother/sister by Your truth. Let Your Word take root in their heart, transforming their thoughts, words, and deeds. Help them to hunger and thirst for righteousness, to fast with the right motives, and to speak words of life and grace.

Protect them from the evil one, Lord. Send Your angels to guard them, and give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes. May they stand firm in the faith, unwavering in their commitment to You.

And finally, Lord, if this brother/sister has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). If they have already done so, we pray that You would deepen their faith and use them mightily for Your kingdom.

We ask all these things in the precious, powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before you with humble hearts, seeking your will in this situation. We ask for wisdom to understand and navigate the complexities of this abandonment, widowerhood, and orphaned children. Give us discernment to know how to love and support them, as you would.

We lift up the cause of the fatherless and the widow, Lord. Be their defender, their advocate, and their comforter. Raise up godly men and women to step into the gap, providing love, provision, and discipleship to these precious souls. Let them know your love, your care, and your presence in their lives.

We ask for grace to fast, to hunger and thirst for righteousness, and to control our tongues while speaking truth in love. Help us to be like apples of gold in settings of silver, so that our words are always gracious, seasoned with salt, and pleasing to you.

We also ask for peace in our hearts and minds, trusting in your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help us to keep us from the evil one and to sanctify us by your truth.

And finally, Lord, if there are any among us who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that you would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that you raised Him from the dead.

We ask all these things in the precious, powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
