Beloved Warrior
Father, I ask what for Jesus said to be my prayer, "I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me commands me what to say and how to say it," John 12:49 [1]. Like apples of gold in settings of silver, so is the right word at the right time, Prov 25:11

I forgive and pray for salvation, Rom 10:1, but after years, am hearing counsel and sensing You are shifting gears, 1 Cor 7:15, Isa 42:9, and ask for wisdom in all that, James 1:5, Col 1:9, Col 4:12, Phil 1:9-10. Without confession, repentance, and conversion, we can only go so far -- “'Truly I tell you,' He said, 'unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven,'" Matt 18:3. It's evident there is no fruit for You and "broke the yoke and burst the bond," Jer 5:5...

It was while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, Acts 13:2 -- please help me hunger and thirst for righteousness in these situation, and help others share this burden with me for ###, me, our child, the entire situation and all that’s transpired, good, bad and ugly, to be turned for glory, praise and honor, Isa 58:6-14, turned together for good, Rom 8:28. Let us plead the cause of the widower, and defend the cause of real humans that by foolish abandonment was made to be orphaned, Jer 5:28, which if we can't visit the widower or orphan, James 1:27, we can at least pray for them...

Please grant powerful grace and strength within me, grant grace to humble my soul with fasting, to control the tongue while speaking truth, sanctifying residual pockets of darkness with light, helping the word become flesh, as John says, John 1:14, to love You AND my NEIGHBOR (how much more my wife and children) with ALL my heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances -- my thoughts, words, deeds, actions and especially my reactions -- let the word be engrafted as explained by James 1:22-23.

I believe the remedy of being sinned against is praying for their salvation -- again nothing's been confessed and repented of... I plainly state for the record I forgive everyone everything, and done as much as I can to be at peace with everyone, Rom 12:18. Salvation is still needed, 2 Tim 2:3-4, repentance isn't optional, but having overlooked times of ignorance You are now commanding everyone everywhere to repent, having fixed a day of certain judgment with justice by The Man appointed, and furnished proof to everyone by raising Him from the dead, Acts 17:31-32, 2 Pet 3:9 -- but help me walk in LOVE, Eph 5:2, let me be "filled with GRACE and truth," John 1:14.

đŸ§ŽđŸœâ€â™‚ïžPlace and use the love of Jesus in me to publicly and privately demonstrate true love of the gospel, Gal 3:1. Let me model it and teach it to myself, every family member, those near and dear and those far off and beyond to extended family, friends especially any who might consider me an enemy -- let me be a living ambassador Your love to be known and read by all people groups, everywhere, 2 Cor 3:2, “What to say and how to say it,” John 12:49 [1].

đŸ™‡đŸ» Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Sanctify us by the truth; Your Word is truth, John 17:17. Keep them and us from evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, Matt 6:13, sin Zeph 3:13 and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Thank you for the angels in advance -- they're real and really do get sent ahead, Heb 13, and thank You in advance for the fact "You like to make their faces change," in Jesus' Name.

We hear your deep cry for wisdom, grace, and transformation in a season of shifting gears and unresolved burdens. Your heart is laid bare before the Lord, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting every word of your prayer before the throne of grace. Let us first affirm the foundation of your plea—Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, who alone holds the authority to command what is spoken and how it is spoken (John 12:49). It is in His name and by His Spirit that we approach the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

You seek the right words at the right time, like apples of gold in settings of silver (Proverbs 25:11), and we join you in asking the Lord to anoint your tongue with grace and truth. But let us also address the weight of what remains unconfessed and unrepented of in this situation. Forgiveness is a command (Matthew 6:14-15), and you have extended it freely, but salvation and repentance are not optional for those who have sinned against you or others. The Lord does not overlook sin indefinitely; He commands all people everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30). While you pray for their salvation, we must also rebuke the hardness of heart that resists confession and turning from sin. The yoke of rebellion has been broken (Jeremiah 5:5), but without repentance, there can be no restoration in the Lord’s timing.

Your hunger for righteousness is commendable, and we pray that the Lord would deepen it as you fast and seek Him. True fasting is not merely abstaining from food but loosening the chains of injustice, setting the oppressed free, and breaking every yoke (Isaiah 58:6). This is the fast the Lord chooses, and we join you in pleading for the widower and the orphan—those left vulnerable by abandonment and sin. If we cannot visit them, we can indeed pray for them (James 1:27), and we do so now, asking the Lord to defend their cause and turn their mourning into joy.

We also lift up your family, for the Lord desires that your love for Him would overflow into love for your neighbor—especially your wife and children. The call to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30) is inseparable from the command to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31). Your thoughts, words, deeds, and reactions must all be sanctified by the Word, which is living and active (Hebrews 4:12). Let the engrafted Word take root in you (James 1:21), transforming you into a living epistle of Christ’s love (2 Corinthians 3:2-3).

Yet we must address the tension in your request—the desire for peace (1 Corinthians 7:15) alongside the reality of unrepentant sin. Peace with God comes through repentance and faith in Christ (Romans 5:1), and peace with others is only possible when both parties walk in the light (1 John 1:7). If there is no repentance, there can be no true reconciliation, only a superficial truce that does not honor God. We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom to navigate this with grace, neither enabling sin nor hardening your heart in bitterness.

You ask for grace to humble your soul in fasting, to control your tongue, and to sanctify every pocket of darkness with light. We stand with you in this, for the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Let that same Word dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16), so that you may be a living demonstration of the gospel to your family, friends, and even those who may oppose you. May your life be a letter from Christ, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God (2 Corinthians 3:3).

We also take hold of your prayer for protection—do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one (John 17:15). The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the angels of the Lord encamp around you (Psalm 34:7). The enemy may prowl like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, who alone has the words of eternal life. Lord, we lift up this dear brother who seeks Your wisdom, Your grace, and Your transforming power. You have commanded us what to say and how to say it (John 12:49), and we ask that You would anoint his tongue with words of life, seasoned with salt, that he may speak truth in love.

Father, we pray for a hunger and thirst for righteousness to consume him, that he may fast not just from food but from the things of this world that hinder his walk with You. Break every chain of injustice, Lord, and set the oppressed free. We plead the cause of the widower and the orphan, those who have been abandoned and left vulnerable. Defend them, Lord, and turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

We ask for grace to humble his soul, to control his tongue, and to sanctify every area of darkness with Your light. Let the Word become flesh in him, Lord, so that he may love You and his neighbor with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength. Engraft Your Word into his heart, that he may be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only (James 1:22).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of hardness and rebellion that resists repentance. We pray for salvation for those who have sinned against him, that they may turn from their wicked ways and live (Ezekiel 18:23). Grant him the grace to walk in love, even as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us (Ephesians 5:2). Let him be filled with grace and truth, a living ambassador of Your love to all people.

Protect him, Lord, from the evil one and from every temptation. Send Your angels ahead of him to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). Sanctify him by Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Keep him from evil people and from the snares of the enemy.

We thank You, Father, for the work You are doing in his life. We thank You for the angels You have sent to minister to him, and we declare that You are changing the faces of those who oppose him. May Your will be done in his life, in his family, and in every situation he faces. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

[1] “What to say and how to say it,” John 12:49 — Historical Comments: What to say (Δϊπω) and how to say it (λαλ᜔σω) -- (dicam) and (loquar), Latin Vulgate, are supposed to discriminate matter (content) and form (style of speech), as another commentator says, “My words and their manner and tone are all of them the outcome of the Father's (áŒÎœÏ„ÎżÎ»áœŽ) command.

The word Î”áŒ°Ï€Î”áż–Îœ relates to the words as spoken successively; λέγΔÎčΜ refers to the sentiment and connection of the words.

The former relating to the SUBSTANCE, and the latter to the FORM of Jesus' utterances.

See we not that He brings His expressions with an excess of humility, that He may both win them over, and silence those who would look to persecute Him. This is why He utters words appropriate to humanity, that He may help us bridge the severity of the sayings, as being conscious that the words belong not to Him, but The Father, and are thus tailored, even suited to the weakness of the hearers.

We stand with you, dear friend, in your quest for wisdom, grace, and transformation. We echo your cry for the right words at the right time, like apples of gold in settings of silver (Proverbs 25:11). Let us ask the Lord together to anoint your tongue with grace and truth, as He did for His servant Ezra (Ezra 7:28).

We are reminded of the apostle Paul's words, "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person" (Colossians 4:6). May your words be filled with grace, wisdom, and love, building up rather than tearing down.

In seeking peace, we must also address the reality of unrepentant sin. As it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Forgiveness is indeed a command, but it is not a license for sin. We must also pray for repentance and salvation for those who have sinned against you or others.

Let us join you in fasting and praying for righteousness. True fasting is more than abstaining from food; it is loosening the chains of injustice, setting the oppressed free, and sharing your bread with the hungry (Isaiah 58:6-7). We pray for the widower and the orphan, those left vulnerable by abandonment and sin. If we cannot visit them, we can indeed pray for them, asking the Lord to defend their cause and turn their mourning into joy (Psalm 30:11).

We also lift up your family, that the Lord would grant you love for Him and for your neighbor, especially your wife and children. Let your love for them be like the love Christ has for you (Ephesians 5:2). Let the Word of God take root in you, transforming you into a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2-3).

Finally, we pray for protection. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that the angels of the Lord encamp around you (Isaiah 54:17, Psalm 34:7). Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who alone has the words of eternal life. Lord, we lift up this dear brother who seeks Your wisdom, Your grace, and Your transforming power. You have commanded us what to say and how to say it (John 12:49), and we ask that You would anoint his tongue with words of life, seasoned with salt, that he may speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, allowing us to stand with you in agreement before the Lord. Your cry for wisdom, grace, and transformation—rooted in Scripture and poured out with such humility—has been a sacred privilege to lift up. We have prayed that the Father would indeed teach you what to say and how to say it, just as Jesus spoke only what the Father commanded Him (John 12:49). We have asked Him to stir in you a hunger and thirst for righteousness, to grant you the grace of fasting that breaks yokes (Isaiah 58:6-14), and to fill your words with the kindness and comfort of His own heart (Zechariah 1:13, Isaiah 40:1-2).

We have interceded for your family, that the Lord would turn every hardship—good, bad, and ugly—for His glory, weaving even the broken threads into a tapestry of praise (Romans 8:28). We have pleaded for the orphaned and the widowed in spirit, asking God to defend their cause and soften hearts to repentance (Jeremiah 5:28, James 1:27). And we have prayed fervently for your own soul—that the word would become flesh in you (John 1:14), that love would compel every thought, word, and deed (Ephesians 5:2), and that the engrafted word would take deep root, producing fruit in season (James 1:22-23).

If the Lord has answered these prayers in ways you’ve already seen, we rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we may glorify Him together. If the answers seem slow in coming, or if new burdens have arisen, we invite you to post again. We will not cease praying that the Father would continue to sanctify you by His truth (John 17:17), guard you from evil (2 Thessalonians 3:2), and fill you with His grace and truth until Christ is fully formed in you. May He strengthen you to walk in love, to forgive as you’ve been forgiven, and to be a living ambassador of His reconciliation—knowing that even now, angels are being dispatched ahead of you (Hebrews 13), and the Lord delights to change the countenance of His children as they seek His face.

We stand with you still, trusting in His faithfulness. In Jesus’ Name.
