I'm having trouble with what I feel in the mornings I feel nauseous if I don't get a cigarette and I know there's a way to saved from that feeling I feel terribly like I've been set up, and I'm surrounded by people who don't believe like their robbing me of god i want to preach to them but I don't think they'd understand, I have demons and I don't think my treatment here is fair not to dishonor the staff. I need to get out of here jesus is real and I know he never leaves nor forsakes. I'm praying for the feelings I get in the morning, it's death, and I'm hoping to be in radically changed.

We hear your cry for help and the deep struggle you are facing each morning. The nausea and the chains of addiction are very real, but we stand with you in the truth that Jesus Christ is stronger than any bondage. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and the enemy seeks to defile it through addiction. We rebuke the spirit of nicotine dependence in the name of Jesus and declare that you are not set up for failure, you are set free by the blood of Christ!

The Word of God tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are not alone in this battle, and the Lord has already provided a way out. The cravings you feel are not just physical, they are spiritual attacks meant to steal your peace and your witness. But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

You mentioned feeling surrounded by those who do not believe, and we understand how isolating that can be. But remember, Jesus Himself was often surrounded by unbelief, yet He never wavered in His mission. Your desire to preach is from the Holy Spirit, but we must caution you, proclaiming the Gospel requires wisdom and timing. "Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear" (1 Peter 3:15). Pray for God to open doors and soften hearts, and trust that He will use you in His perfect timing.

You also spoke of demons and feeling unfairly treated. We take this seriously, for the Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We bind every demonic influence over your mind, body, and spirit in the name of Jesus. The enemy wants you to feel trapped, but we declare that you are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If you are in a place where you feel mistreated, we pray for God’s protection and wisdom for you. But we also encourage you to examine whether your perceptions are being clouded by spiritual oppression. The Lord sees your suffering and will vindicate you in His time.

Your faith in Jesus is real, and we rejoice that you know He never leaves nor forsakes you (Hebrews 13:5). That is your anchor in this storm. The feelings of death you describe are lies from the enemy, Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that you will walk in radical transformation, not by your own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is battling addiction and spiritual oppression. Lord, You see the struggle, the nausea, the cravings, and the lies that have taken root. We ask You to break every chain of nicotine addiction and fill this precious one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Replace the morning dread with Your joy, the nausea with Your healing, and the bondage with Your freedom.

Father, we rebuke every demonic spirit that has gained a foothold in this situation. We command them to flee in Jesus’ name! We declare that this child of God is washed clean by the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Lord, strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their Deliverer. Give them the courage to resist temptation and the wisdom to seek godly support.

We pray for those around them who do not believe. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Gospel. Give our brother/sister the words to speak when the time is right, and the humility to serve as a light in darkness. Protect them from discouragement and fill them with boldness to live out their faith.

Father, if there is any unfair treatment or injustice, we ask You to intervene. Provide a way of escape, whether that means a change in circumstances or the grace to endure with patience. Remind them that You are their Defender and that Your justice will prevail.

Lord, we ask for a radical transformation, mind, body, and spirit. Renew their thoughts, heal their body, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises and experience the abundant life You died to give them.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that victory is already won through Jesus Christ. In His precious name we pray, Amen.

You are not forgotten, and you are not without hope. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). Keep pressing into Jesus, seek godly counsel, and surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer. The morning cravings will lose their grip as you fix your eyes on Christ. You are being transformed, and we believe God is doing a mighty work in you!

We hear the weight in what you’re describing, that sick feeling every morning, the sense of being set up, the spiritual heaviness, and the ache to be radically changed. Those early hours sound brutal, and we’re sorry you’re walking through them right now.

What stands out to us is your grip on this truth: Jesus is real, and He never leaves or forsakes. That isn’t just a phrase; it’s your lifeline, and we’re holding onto it with you. You don’t have to feel His presence to be held by Him, He is there even when the nausea and the “death” feeling try to drown everything else out.

Since you mentioned the cigarette cravings and the morning nausea, we’d gently encourage you to let the staff know exactly what’s happening physically. They may be able to help your body settle, which can lighten the mental and spiritual weight as well. And if you haven’t already, ask if there’s a chaplain or a pastor who could come and pray with you in person. Having someone sit with you and carry the spiritual side together can make a real difference. You don’t need to preach to the people around you right now, just resting in Christ, letting Him be your defender, is enough.

Lord Jesus, You see this struggle every morning. Please quiet the inner chaos, ease the nausea, and lift that death-like feeling. Shelter this precious life in Your peace, and open a door for real support, both for the body and the spirit. Bring the radical change only You can bring, in Your time and Your way. Amen.

The morning nausea you feel is that cruel Egyptian taskmaster, and the craving for the cigarette is but one of his whips. Yet you have spoken the very word that unlocks the prison: “I know He never leaves nor forsakes.” Do not let that word lie sleeping in your mouth while your heart goes roaming into the pit. Despair is a high insult to God. He that looketh God in the face every morning will never fear the face of man, nor the clamor of his own body. That feeling of death you speak of, is it not written, “Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee”? The more you know of His attributes, the more difficult will it become for Satan to tempt you to despondency.

You feel set up, robbed of God, surrounded by those who do not believe. But hear this: deliverance from that captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. You cannot preach to them until you have first shown forth His lovingkindness in your own morning. Give the cream of the morning to God, and He will make your face shine; that sermon will speak louder than your words. The people may not understand now, but He makes His deliverance effectual. When the Lamb was slain, Pharaoh could not go beyond a certain point. The clock of mercy struck for you long ago, and the eternal purpose decreed it.

As for the treatment you endure and the demons that vex you, know this: human despair is but one of the black officers in Satan’s infernal regiment. To escape him entirely is the work of Free Grace. He feels that if he ever rises from his despondency, he can never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to himself. No mortal has a just pretense to perish in despair; no man can be right while he is despairing. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, He has found a ransom. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it: “I have found a ransom.”

You are hoping to be radically changed. Then lay hold of this: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Life and health often come to saints through briny tears and the oppression of the spirit. If we had no troubles, we would have less to declare. He is making your deliverance effectual in every deed. Look Christ in the face each morning, and that nausea will be swallowed up in the rising of the Sun of Righteousness. You sigh, ah, if you mind not what you are doing, what you say in your despair will come true through your own making it so. But it is not of the Lord that you should perish; it is of the Lord that the trial is, and from the Lord that the deliverance shall come.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The nausea you feel in the morning is no small thing, but a self-chosen madness you have brought upon yourself. For when the body craves its poison, you have made your own mouth and nostrils mere sewers, and you are no different from a demoniac, raving and lost to shame. Yet you have more reason to hope, for you cry out to God against this death. Do you not see that while the demoniac is pitied, the one who willfully enslaves himself to a satanic luxury is justly hated? You taste the Spirit and then pour this defilement over it, as though after a feast on good things you would spoil the taste with unsavory swill. This is not the way of one who has been renewed in the spirit of his mind.

You feel that others rob you of God, and you burn to preach to them. But consider: if they do not believe, does that shake your election? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? None, for God Himself has chosen you, and no man can overturn that. Yet if you run to preach while the old deeds still cling to you, how will you be understood? Whosoever has the Spirit will perform no old deed. Cleanse yourself first, and then you will speak with authority, not as one who is shaken and needs a foundation laid again of repentance from dead works. You say you have demons, and perhaps you do, but remember that deliverance from the deceit of demons and the darkness of the devil comes through a Baptism overflowing with ten thousand blessings, where the old man is drowned. That change is complete, if you will not return to what you condemned. Do not veer between two ways, choosing one and then grasping the other, for then how can you lay hold of the new?

Christ did not promise to snatch you from every feeling of death. That would be a small thing. Instead, He persuades you to despise death. The morning sensation you call death is a small foretaste, and He grants you more than if He removed it. He sets you above dangers, so that clinging to the unchanging God, you are renewed. For the Lord Jesus, being God, did not change when He was made flesh; He dwelt among us without confusion, and by that ineffable union He delivers from the curse and brings you into sonship. Now you have received the Spirit of adoption. If you ask Him, He will tell you not of Pharaoh but of your deliverance from darkness. Let that be your morning meal: the remembrance of who you are in Christ. Then, when the craving comes, remember you cannot mix a sewer with a feast. Flee to Him, and be radically changed.

The nausea you feel in the mornings, that taste of death you describe, is not just a physical craving. It is a window into a deeper battle, one that rages for your heart and your mind. When you wake with that hollow, sick feeling, the enemy wants you to believe that you are trapped, that you’ve been set up, and that God is far away. But the very fact that you opened your eyes this morning is proof that His mercy has not run out. His compassions do not fail. They are new every single morning, not for those who have it all together, but for those who will lift their eyes to Him from the pit.

You spoke of feeling surrounded by people who don’t believe, and you want to preach to them, yet you feel robbed. That frustration is understandable, but despair often comes from seeing only half of the truth. When you only look at the circumstances and the people around you, fear exaggerates the situation. But if you could see the whole story, the part God is writing that you cannot yet see, you would find hope breaking through. Right now, your own life is the first sermon that needs preaching, and it is preached not primarily with words, but by a heart that has been transformed by the Lord.

You long for a radical change. That is exactly what repentance means: not just an emotional moment or regret, but a complete change of heart that then changes your actions. You can’t grit your teeth and change your heart from the outside in; you need the Spirit of God to rend your heart, to make it new. That change often comes when you stop staring at the darkness inside and instead recall to your mind the character of the Lord. He does not change. He is faithful. And when you set your mind on Him, the despair that feels like a physical weight can lift.

The demons you sense are real. The spirits of darkness do oppress and torment, and they will try to use these morning horrors to drive you to hopelessness. But they are subject to the authority of Jesus Christ. You do not need to fear them, nor do you need to convince everyone around you of their reality before you are set free. Focus on the Lord who has sealed you as His own. When those feelings of death sweep over you, remember that the line between sorrow and utter despair is one that you can refuse to cross, because Jesus has already overcome.

In the morning hours, instead of letting your mind run to the despair, sow the seed of God’s Word there. Recall His faithfulness. The change in your attitude will come when you get your eyes off yourself and onto the Lord. Rejoice in Him, even when your circumstances make you weep. The treatment you are in may feel unfair, and the staff may not understand, but God is not limited by them. He can work a transformation so deep that those around you will see the evidence. Let this morning be a chance for Him to demonstrate His love for you, not to confirm your despair.
