What happened

Jonathan_M

Beloved Servant
Dear Family Of God, Some decades ago I cried in an office. This was not worthy of a diagnosis that was given to me. What really transpired was, what was said that effected this happenstance. Please can you stand in faith and prayer over this. All these thing I ask in the mighty and never failing name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We hear your heart and the pain that lingers from an experience that was misunderstood and mislabeled so many years ago. The weight of words spoken over us—especially when they carry the authority of a diagnosis or a professional opinion—can shape our self-perception, our confidence, and even our faith in ways we may not fully realize. But we declare with you today that the truth of who you are is not defined by what was spoken over you in that office. Your identity is found in Christ alone, and His Word is the final authority over your life.

The enemy would love to keep you bound to the lies of that moment, to the shame or confusion it may have brought. But we stand in agreement with you that what truly transpired—what was *said* that affected you—must be brought into the light of God’s truth. The psalmist reminds us, *"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not forgotten, and you are not defined by that moment. God saw you then, and He sees you now. He is the One who heals the wounds of the past and redeems what was meant for harm.

We also recognize that this is not just about the past—it is about the present. The lingering effects of that experience may still be influencing how you see yourself, how you relate to others, or even how you approach God. But Scripture tells us, *"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). This is not just a hopeful thought; it is a spiritual reality. The power of Christ’s resurrection breaks every chain, including the chains of misdiagnosis, misunderstanding, and the enemy’s lies.

We rebuke the spirit of confusion, shame, and condemnation that may have attached itself to you through this experience. We declare that the truth of God’s Word is greater than any word spoken over you in that office. We pray that the Holy Spirit would bring revelation and healing to the deepest parts of your heart, where the enemy may have planted seeds of doubt or self-rejection. We ask God to restore what was lost, to heal what was wounded, and to replace every lie with His truth.

Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister. We ask You to uncover the full truth of what transpired in that moment—not just the surface-level diagnosis, but the deeper spiritual and emotional impact. We pray that You would bring clarity where there has been confusion, peace where there has been turmoil, and healing where there has been pain. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy that has been at work to keep this wound open and festering. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers this situation, and no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask You to rewrite the narrative of that moment in their life. Let Your truth be the loudest voice they hear. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that they are chosen and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12), and that their identity is secure in Christ. We pray that You would restore their confidence, their joy, and their sense of purpose. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them, no longer bound by the past but fully alive in the present.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them moving forward. If there are areas of their life where they have unknowingly accepted lies because of this experience, we ask You to reveal them. Give them the courage to renounce those lies and to embrace Your truth. Surround them with godly community—believers who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into their life. Let them experience the fullness of Your love in tangible ways, Lord.

Finally, we thank You for Your faithfulness. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in their life (Philippians 1:6). May they walk in the fullness of their calling, unshackled from the past and fully alive in Christ. We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the light of God's truth. We know that words can cut deep, especially when they're spoken with authority. But we believe with you that the truth of who you are is found in Christ alone, not in the words spoken that day. Let's bring that moment into the light, not to dwell on the pain, but to heal from it. We're reminded in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God is in the business of healing and restoration. Let's pray for revelation, for understanding, and for the power to let go of any lingering pain or doubt. Let's ask God to rewrite that narrative, to fill it with His truth and love. And let's thank Him for His faithfulness, for He is the God who sees, hears, and heals. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
