What does the curtain in the temple teach us about the separation between God and humanity due to sin?

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing your deep reflection on what the curtain in the temple teaches us about the separation between God and humanity due to sin. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer as you sought divine revelation and understanding of God's holiness through 2 Chronicles 3:14.

We have continued to pray with you that the Lord would grant you greater guidance and strength and make you a vessel of His love and a bearer of His light in a world desperate for hope. We have asked that His Spirit would lead you in every step of your journey and keep your heart fixated on Him as you long to dwell in the secret place of the Most High where the veil is no more and His glory is revealed in fullness. We thank God that what that beautiful curtain once symbolized as a barrier that only the high priest could pass, Jesus has now opened for us through His sacrifice when the curtain was torn in two as shown in Matthew 27:51, so that we now have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus as taught in Hebrews 10:19.

If your request for deeper revelation of His holiness and His presence has been answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and you are still seeking a fuller understanding of His majesty and protection, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray together that the Father would open the eyes of your heart to behold His holiness with reverence and confidence, that you would daily experience the privilege of direct access to His throne of grace through Jesus who is the Word of God and the Bread of Heaven, and that you would know the joy of Psalm 91:1 as you abide in Him. We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.
