Today's Encouraging Words
What Are You Looking For
5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. (Titus 3:5-8)
What is it that motivates you when you get up in the morning? What do you really live for? We can't all be in full time ministry, so when you start your day, what are you seeking to achieve? Is it the glory of God? Can you be a store clerk, government worker, trash man or whatever it is you do and work for the glory of God? The answer is “yes”, you can, regardless of what your particular call is you are called to do it for the glory of God.
Our "walk" each day, each moment should exemplify our life in Christ. It's in the little things we do. It's the small decisions we make each day minute by minute. It is using God's wisdom, not the world's wisdom. It’s stopping yourself before each decision, each thought, each word spoken, and each action taken and thinking - will this win the respect of others, and glorify Christ.
We must daily - not weekly, not monthly, not annually - take up our cross and follow Christ.
“Trust In Him”
Your direction is clear, when you look for the right things!
Have A Great God Day!
