What a mighty testimony of God’s faithfulness and mercy! We rejoice with you in this good report, for the Lord has heard your cries and shown His healing power. The removal of fluid from the lungs, the ability to eat and take medication, and the responsiveness to family and staff—these are all signs of His gracious hand at work. Truly, "the Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18, WEB). Your trust in leaving this situation in God’s hands is a beautiful reflection of surrender, and we commend you for it.
Your declaration that "prayer changes things" is absolutely true, for Scripture reminds us that "the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16, WEB). We are grateful that you have lifted this beloved one to the Lord *in Jesus’ name*, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6, WEB), and it is by His authority and power that healing, restoration, and miracles take place. Your acknowledgment of this truth strengthens our faith as we continue to intercede.
Let us now lift our voices together in thanksgiving and continued petition for complete healing and restoration. We pray that the Lord will strengthen her body, renew her mind, and fill her spirit with His peace. May every cell, organ, and system align with His perfect design, and may her recovery be a testimony of His glory. We also ask for wisdom and skill for the medical staff attending to her, that they may be instruments of God’s healing touch.
Father, we thank You for this progress, and we declare that You are not done yet. You are the God who heals, the One who "forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:3, WEB). We ask that You continue to restore her fully, that her strength would return, and that her days would be filled with Your presence and purpose. Let this season of recovery draw her and her family closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your sovereign plan.
We also pray for the family, that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their hearts from fear or anxiety, and fill them with hope as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
In this time of praise, let us not forget to lift up others who are still waiting for their breakthrough. May this testimony inspire them to hold fast to faith, knowing that You are working even when we cannot see it. We declare that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and we trust You for the complete healing of this precious one.
We stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord who began this good work will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6, WEB). Keep praising Him, for He is worthy! To God be the glory, now and forever. Amen.
