Well Being Of My Child

Krierver

Disciple of Prayer
The mother of my young daughter is often verbally and emotionally abusive to her. She is very malicious and extremely cold hearted...a very nasty, violent evil woman who grows progressively worse. Please pray for my daughters well-being and for the removal of this evil woman and that my daughter remains happy and continues to develop emotionally well not being affected by the words and treatment of her mother. Thank you in Jesus's name.

We have heard your burden for your young daughter and we join with you in bringing her before the throne of grace, for our hearts are moved by your concern for her well being and her emotional health.

We know that children are precious in the sight of God and that He has entrusted parents with a sacred responsibility to nurture and protect them. Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. And Ephesians 6:4 says You fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Colossians 3:21 also says Fathers, don't provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged. What you describe, verbal and emotional abuse that is malicious and cold hearted, is in direct opposition to God's design for motherhood and fatherhood. We rebuke that evil and violent behavior, for God does not take lightly the mistreatment of little ones. Jesus said in Matthew 18:6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He is near to the wounded. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We thank you for closing your request in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We are encouraged that you know where to turn.

We want to encourage you as her father to be the godly covering and protector she needs in this season. While we pray for the Lord to intervene, we also urge you to take wise and lawful steps to ensure her safety. This means seeking godly counsel from a pastor or biblical counselor, documenting what your daughter shares, pursuing appropriate legal and custodial protections through the proper authorities if abuse is ongoing, and surrounding your daughter with a safe, loving, and stable environment where she can continue to develop emotionally in a healthy way. Vengeance belongs to the Lord as Romans 12:19 says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, but we are called to protect the vulnerable and to not enable ongoing harm. Proverbs 22:6 says Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, and that training must be done in gentleness and love, not in fear and cruelty.

We pray together for your daughter and for this situation.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious little girl to You. You formed her and You know her every thought and need. We ask that You place Your hedge of protection around her, that You guard her heart and mind from the wounds of harsh words and cold treatment. Heal any brokenness in her spirit and let her know how deeply she is loved by You and by her father. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Let her rest there, Lord. We pray that You would give her joy that remains, and that she would continue to grow emotionally well, secure, and whole in Your love. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Strengthen her, Lord.

We also bring this mother before You. We ask that You would convict her heart of this malicious and abusive behavior and bring her to repentance. If she will not turn from this evil, we pray that You in Your sovereignty would remove her harmful influence and limit her ability to wound this child, and that You would establish safe boundaries through the courts and through righteous authority as needed. We pray for this father, that You would give him wisdom, courage, discernment, and peace as he advocates for his daughter, that he would be a reflection of Your loving and faithful Father heart. Lead him to the right help and support, and let Your justice and mercy prevail.

We trust that You are a defender of the helpless and a Father to the fatherless, and that You hear the cry of this child. We thank You that You are working even now for her good. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer that the Lord would guard your daughter's heart, restore what has been hurt, and establish a safe and loving environment where she can flourish in happiness and in emotional health, and that His will would be done in removing evil and establishing righteousness in her life.

Your burden for your precious daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We grieve to hear of the harsh and wounding words and treatment she has endured. The Lord knows the tender heart of a child and He is near to those who are broken in heart. Scripture tells us He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and that even the least things that come from Christ have healing virtue in them, as the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. There is a balm in Christ, a Physician who can give joy to the troubled countenance, wipe the tear from the eye, and calm the heart that is swelling with grief. We pray that this healing would descend upon your daughter now, that the Lord would preserve her soul, keep her mind and emotions in His perfect peace, and let no bitter word take root to hinder her growth.

We pray for her well being and protection, that the Lord who preserves His own from all evil would set a hedge about her, guard her from harm, and give her happiness and sound emotional development in Christ. We ask that He would provide for her godly influences, loving care, and all that she needs to grow in safety and in the knowledge of His love. We pray that any wound already made would be healed by His gracious hand, for He can breathe into the soul a peace which passes all understanding.

We also pray concerning her mother, that the Lord in His holiness would restrain all that is violent and malicious, bring conviction where there is sin, and execute justice and mercy according to His perfect will. We ask that God would in His wisdom remove your daughter from every abusive influence and place her where she is safe and cherished, and that He would use all lawful and rightful means to secure her protection. We pray that if it be His will, the heart that is now cold would be changed by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, for there is forgiveness and healing to be found only in Him.

We encourage you, even as you pray, to take wise and diligent steps for your daughter's safety. Seek godly counsel from faithful pastors and seek help from the proper authorities who are ordained by God for the protection of the vulnerable. Keep a careful record of what has occurred and pursue every lawful provision for her care, that her welfare may be secured.

May the Lord hear your morning prayer and keep you and your daughter from the Evil One, preserve you in purity and uprightness, and let you experience that the pardoning and healing hand of Christ is still mighty to save and to restore. We commit you both to Him who is able to keep you, trusting that the least word from His lips bears healing for every ill.

In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
