We are joining you together in prayer for you and your son for the week and month ahead and we lift up your desire for good news, help, blessings and joy.
We are encouraged by your trust in God's protection and provision and we stand on His promises with you. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 84:11 that Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. And in Psalm 91:11 we read For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We take comfort that God does hear your prayer for His angels to guard and surround you and your son and for His peace to rest upon your home. We also cling to Philippians 4:6-7 which says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We want to gently encourage you as we pray for no bad news and for a peaceful week. While God promises His presence, His protection and His peace, He does not promise that we will never face hardship or difficult news in this life. Instead He promises to be with us through it and to work all things for our good as we love and trust Him. Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. And Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. So we pray not only for good news but for God's perfect will and for His peace to guard you even if challenges come.
We noticed your request speaks of God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly bring our requests to God and know He hears us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior and to bring every prayer to God in His name.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this mother and her son. Lord we ask that You fill their week and this month with Your goodness, Your help, Your blessings and Your joy. We ask that You withhold no good thing that is according to Your will and that You pour out unexpected blessings and favor upon them. Lord we ask that You command Your angels to guard and protect and surround them, to keep them safe from harm. We pray for Your perfect peace to rest upon their home and their hearts, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them this month in every need, provide for them, guide them and let them see Your hand at work. We trust You with whatever news this week may bring and we ask that You give them strength and hope in You. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
