Multitudinous Thoughts and Sacred Comforts
True peace comes from God’s comforts, which calm and delight the soul even amid overwhelming thoughts.

David's Religious Experience
God hears prayer and answers it, so we must commit to a life of prayer and trust in Him.
We join you with thankful hearts before our Heavenly Father and rejoice with you for all He has done in the past week. We give glory to God for His protection over the candidates in the exam room, for granting them understanding, memory, calmness and strength, and for carrying them through every paper with no evil befalling them. Every good gift comes from Him and we praise Him together for His faithfulness.

We stand with you now to commit the coming week into the Lord's hands. We have heard your declaration of faith for excellent results and we agree with you that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask, yet we also humbly submit every desire to His perfect will, trusting not in our own might but in His Spirit. As it is written, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Proverbs 16:3 and Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies. Zechariah 4:6

We are encouraged by your commitment to prayer and fasting this week. The Lord honors those who humble themselves before Him. As it is written, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven. 2 Chronicles 7:14 We pray that as you seek Him, He will strengthen the teachers as they revise, strengthen the parents as they support, and strengthen each candidate as they prepare, and that His favor will go with you all.

We also hold fast to the promises of peace and wisdom for these young ones. The word says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 and But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We remember how God gave knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom to Daniel and his companions, Daniel 1:17, and we ask for that same gift to rest upon these candidates, that they may have retentive memory, sharp understanding, speed, accuracy and confidence, free from fear, anxiety, confusion and sickness.

Let us pray together.

Our Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, Redeemer and friend, with thanksgiving for what You have already done. Thank You for guarding every candidate, for giving them peace in the exam room and for bringing them through last week. We return all glory to You.

Lord, we now place next week and every paper into Your hands. Go before each candidate. Grant them sound sleep, good health, and a calm mind. Remove all fear and anxiety and fill them with Your peace. Give them wisdom to understand the questions, remembrance of what they have studied, and grace to answer with clarity and accuracy. Let Your hand be upon the teachers as they guide revision and upon the parents as they encourage and provide for their children. As we humble ourselves in prayer and fasting, hear us from heaven, strengthen us, and let this week be a testimony of Your goodness and excellence. We ask that Your will be done and that You would be glorified in all the results, and we trust You for great things according to Your mercy and purpose.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 We thank You that we can come boldly through Him.

We encourage you to continue to rest in Him, to study diligently as unto the Lord, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Encourage the candidates to sleep well, eat well, and cast every care upon Him, for He cares for them. 1 Peter 5:7 and to remember, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

We stand in faith with you that this week belongs to the Lord and we shall rejoice and be glad in it. May the Lord shine upon these candidates and let their efforts bring honor to Him. Amen and amen.

We were so encouraged to read your thankful prayer for last week and your hopeful commitment of this next week to the Lord. It is beautiful to see teachers, parents and candidates moving together with gratitude and dependence on Him.

We join you in thanking God for His protection, calm and clarity over last week's papers, and we stand with you now as you look to week two. Your love for these students and your desire for them to shine for His glory comes through clearly.

As you set aside this week for prayer and fasting and revision, it helps to keep a steady, sustainable rhythm. Short focused revision blocks with rest, good sleep, regular meals and water, and moments to simply breathe and pray together will help the candidates stay clear and peaceful. Encouraging teachers and parents to also get rest and to speak calm words of reassurance can lift a lot of pressure off the students.

We are praying with you for peace in the exam room, for steady recall and understanding, and for strength for everyone supporting them. Whatever the results, we trust God to use their diligence for His purposes.

Father, thank You for these candidates, teachers and families. Give them restful sleep, calm hearts and clear minds as they prepare and sit for these papers. Guide their revision and guard their health. Let Your peace be with them and let Your will be done, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your grateful prayer has been heard and it is good to give thanks unto the Lord for what He has already done. You thank Him for protecting the candidates, for giving understanding, memory, calmness and strength, and for carrying them through every paper so that no evil befell them, and in this you do well, for all good gifts come from the Father of lights.

Now you commit the week ahead into His hands, and this also is wisdom. The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not a mere lull of anxiety or a blindness to danger, but a peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. It is the peace of God which passes all understanding, which keeps the heart and mind through Jesus Christ. Pray then that each candidate may know this peace within, even when duties press and sorrows surge round, for to do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within.

You ask for retentive memory, sharp understanding, wisdom to answer correctly, speed, accuracy and confidence, and for the removal of fear and anxiety. Remember that wisdom is above rubies and its price is above gold, and it is found in Christ who is made unto us Wisdom. He cannot err and He cannot lie. Seek Christ first and all that is needful will be added. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but trust in God is true wisdom, and the soul that sleeps in the bosom of its Saviour has perfect peace.

You declare your desire for excellence, that the candidates may shine, and you commit yourselves to prayer and fasting, humbling yourselves before heaven. This is right, for the Lord has promised, Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find. He who hears prayer will not disarrange all His affairs to fulfill a promise, for His wisdom and power are unlimited, and His Word cannot fail. Continue to seek His favour, not by might nor by power but by His Spirit.

May the Lord strengthen the teachers as they revise, the parents as they support, and the candidates as they prepare. May He grant them sleep in peace, health in body, and a stayed mind upon Christ. May every paper next week be answered with clarity and truth, and may all the glory return to Him who has done it.

We join our faith with yours and commit this week unto the Lord. May He keep you in perfect peace and bless His people with peace, through Jesus Christ our only Redeemer and Prince of Peace.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received with gladness and we join you in giving thanks to God for His mercy through last week. We thank Him with you for keeping the candidates, for granting them calmness and understanding in the exam room, and for carrying them through every paper without harm. To Him belongs all glory for what has been done.

We also join you in committing the coming week to the Lord. We ask Him to go before each candidate, to grant retentive memory, clear understanding, wisdom to answer well, and a steady and peaceful heart. We pray that fear, anxiety and confusion will be taken away, and that He will grant good sleep, good health and quiet confidence as they enter again into their work. As it has been said, it is virtue and the fear of God that give true confidence, not outward things alone, so we pray above all that their souls may be kept pure and undisturbed, able to look steadily to what is good and to do their work with diligence and honesty.

We hear your hope for excellent results, for every candidate to attain C plus and above and for the school to be known for excellence. We bring that desire before God and ask Him to crown honest labor with good fruit according to His wisdom and goodness, not by our own strength but by His Spirit. We pray that whatever the outcome, the testimony will be one of faithfulness, humility and gratitude, and that the candidates, teachers and parents will rejoice in Him.

We commend your commitment to prayer and fasting this week. When we humble ourselves and seek Him, He hears from heaven and strengthens us. May He strengthen the teachers as they revise, the parents as they support and encourage, and the candidates as they prepare. May He keep you all in peace with one another and in peace within yourselves, that you may lead a quiet life in all godliness and honesty, holding fast your confidence and hope in Christ to the end.

We stand with you in this. May the Lord grant you all that is needed for the week ahead, and may His favor rest upon your school.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour and Redeemer we pray, Amen.
